Obama Receives 77% of Jewish Vote-- More Than Kerry
According to exit polling Barack Obama won 77% or 78% of the Jewish vote in yesterday's election.
John Kerry won 74% of the Jewish vote in 2004

78%, according to CNN's exit polls. and no, I can't make any sense out of that, either. and 54% of the catholics, but that's not surprising.

I'm no expert and I could be completely off base here, but just how orthodox are Jews anymore? Just how much attention do they really pay to what's going on in Israel, Lebanon, Syria, Gaza, and the West Bank?
I suspect that many Jews today suffer from the same problems that Christians do - they're buried in their iPods, X-boxes, computer dating, and similar it's-all-about-me-and-what-I-want.
These folks haven't done the research to unearth just how much of an anti-Semite that Obama is.
It's just another example of how the MSM is much more powerful than even we realize.

I think it's because those of Jewish derivation these days don't "identify" with others of Jewish derivation like they used to. The group's become less cohesive.
As for Roman Catholics, I was sorely disappointed, especially with Pennsylvania.
I thought for sure they'd help us carry Pennsylvania, given the anti-God attitude of the Obamaites and Obamaite primitives.
It didn't happen, but there's always next time.

Frank, I'm Roman Catholic, and a Pennsylvanian. I have no idea how Catholics could vote for Obama. Yet another reason I'm ashamed of my state this day.

The American Jewish population is highly concentrated in deep blue territory (in the case of Florida, deep blue parts of a battleground state, parts full of deep-blue state expats/retirees), and not only fully assimilates the liberal values there but by and large considers itself a leader in that direction. Apparently 3/4 of them could give a rat's ass about Israel.

It has been my experience in working with Jewish friends when I lived on the east coast is that they have a total disconnect with the State of Israel, with the exception of the Hasidic community, they simply don't care........in the US today, evangelical Christians are the single group that can be consistently counted upon to support Israel......

Perhaps it's because the majority of Jews in Florida are all older and on social security ?? I've noticed that those reliant on the Govt teat seem to be more allied with Obama than the GOP despite their core values. Those who chose Obama deserve what they get. Those that didn't will suck it up, bitch and move on towards fixing their **** ups.

For some reason, the Jews (and Catholics) do vote Democrat :mental:
New England is very liberal and Catholicism is more or less the main religion up there, whereas the south is very conservative and being Christian (Baptist, Evangelical Christians, etc.) is the main religion down here.
I really have no idea why Jews and Catholics vote Democrat, especially considering the Democrat ideals totally contradict what morals their religion have granted them.

Catholicism pretty much calls for socialism as the primary form of government -- thus, even though the democrats call for abortions as heir primary sacrament, the rest of the issues break in conjunction with the Catholic mindset (except of course, for the Church herself -- THAT is to be financed and NEVER challenged).
From what I have been able to gather, Jews vote democratic because of their ingrained concept of "Mitzvah" -- the good you should do to thank God for the good that has come to you, even if it is to your detriment. This is taught -- inculcated! -- from birth and is the source of the stereotype of Jewish Guilt.
My Jewish friends, please let me know if I am wrong here. This is a Goyim summary based on asking this question over and over for the last 12 years.

Hey, that was what I was going to say! My hubby works with a Jewish lady who voted Obama. He asked her why she would do that when Obama will never protect Israel. She didn't care about Israel. :thatsright:
