Put in my absentee ballot about 3 weeks ago. No way in hell it's not gonna arrive on time.
-
Weeks ago...
-
Last Wednesday.

-

I have to brave whatever awaits me at my polling place with my two oldest children around 2 pm. I've heard that's usually a quieter time so I'm hoping. The other half went early, but the line was out into the parking lot and he had to get to work. I don't expect since he can't get there until 5 pm or so that we'll see him until 7 pm tnight. :thatsright:
-
Voted...took about 50 minutes start to finish.
-
Mailed my absentee ballot to Texas last Thursday.
And my better half (sxytxredhead at TOS) voted for the first time in her life as well.
:cheersmate:
-
Oh yeah.
KC
-
I voted today.
-
SR voted early this am. I'm heading there now. The lines were long this morning, but hoping to dodge the really long wait. See ya later.
-
Early voted here in Texas a couple of weeks ago at a senior citizen center - no wait.
-
I voted in Madison WI. Left my house at about 10:40 AM and was back in my car a little after 10:50 AM. Busier than I have seen it but obviously not too bad.
-
Voting around 3 p.m.
-
voted halloween afternoon before taking the kids to trick or treat... i figure it's at least a good civics lesson
-
Yeppers. This morning on the way to work.
-
Via absentee some weeks back.
-
Done :D
-
I voted early last Thursday here in Texas .WooHoo!!!!!
-
just got back
Took the 10 y/o as a homeschool field trip for civics. Also gave blood and made him watch.

At 6:45 this morning. I was the 29th person who came through. They mentioned that they needed six more voters to equal the entire day's voting on Primary Day (yes, I was one of them).
My wife . . . well, she's got the day off, so I'm thinking that she went already.
-
I went to town to vote at 11:45 a.m. central time, 10:45 a.m. mountain time.
No line, no waiting; two other people voting, two had just voted and were standing in the lobby.
There's a paper book the poll workers use, listing the voters; as my name was on the final page, the poll worker had to shuffle through all the pages, and my quick eye of course noticed things.
It looks as if about two-thirds of the precinct had voted before me.
-
I voted a few weeks ago. It took about an hour.
-
Yes. About 2 weeks ago.
-
Just returned from voting during lunch. Took all of about 10 minutes total to park and go in to vote.
-
Well, I am done belly aching. I had no wait and went right in. My child was placated with cookies and donuts. The voting process in my counting is easy on one of the touchscreen systems--took all of 5 minutes. If I even hear crap about it being difficult... :whatever: All the pollworkers were pleasant, cordial, and just went about the business of doing their jobs. For those wondering if they are doing any checks...well, I have an older card from 2004(apparently they are updating or have updated them) and she asked if I had a newer one(I do not) and then she asked me for photo id as well and found me on the roster and there was my signature ready to matc h to the signature I had to do as I stood there verifying who I was. While there are no extraordinary measures, I find Ohio to be a bit more rigorous when you check in anyway as compared to when I voted in Arizona several years back. I have to say, this is the time of day to vote. :cheersmate:

Voted at 7 am this morning.

Yay! I'm glad it went smoothly for you. I was prepared to come and babysit if need be! :)

I took the day off just to be able to go mid-morning when the crowds had thinned down a little.
Crowds? HAH!
This town of not quite 14K hasn't seen a crowd since 1868 when two trains collided.
It was no more than 5 minutes. Present ID, they checked their "book", found everything in order, gave me a ballot and a Sharpie, and I filled in the little ovals.
We don't need no stinkin' hangin' chads here in mid-Missouri.
I had done my homework and had my list with most - but not all - of my selections indicated on it. A couple of weird ones - the county sheriff ran opposed, as did the county tax assessor.
Somebody PLEASE tell me why the ******* CORONER has to be an elected official! Jeezus! What does this guy do, anyway, besides sign off on death certificates? He doesn't operate on cadavers because that's the medical examiner's job.
Anyway, there were two choices for that job.
Among my list of selections included several Democrats and a candidate from the Constitution Party.
I don't recall selecting anybody from the Green Party. Nope. No way.

Thx I was getting worried since I knew my guy couldn't handle a long wait today with how he was acting, especially since he'd already had one earlier in the day when his sister was at the dentist. The other half doesn't sound like he's in the mood for the lines he will meet later...I told him to go and stay since the process itself was quick and easy. We want him to vote peeps---he's a solid conservative voter and will be another vote for McCain. :cheersmate: In fact before asdf posted the lady talking about the days of free gas and homes, he showed it to me before he left for work while we both did this--> :lmao:
Anyway, I'm done...time for my homework since its quiet for a bit more until the little one returns home again. Enjoy!

+1 at 8am.
-
Yup at 11AM. I voted Straight Republican ticket except for 1 democrat
who is a friend of mine and 2 Libertarians because there were no
Republicans running.
-
I did earlier . After I had to find out where our previous voting place had been moved to. Would be nice to know these things in advance since thew old place had been used since before 1977.
-
Not till about 4 pm. But I sure as hell am!
-
We left the house at 4 and were back at 4:20......2 for McCain/Palin. :cheersmate:
-
A little while ago. Not too crowded.
-
I voted straight ticket. Waited an hout to vote. Was done in 30 seconds. :cheersmate:
A H5 to all that said yes.
-
Voted, Mrs RC voted - she brought the kids so they could see the process. No voting problems, bouncys, or stories.
-
In and out in 10 minutes. No problems at all.
-
We voted!!! I made sure Mr. Belle had his instructions and then turned him loose on the paper ballots. :-)
Actually, the process was quite smooth. In and out in about 30 minutes. The poll workers were friendly and on top of things. They kept the lines moving and you could choose electronic or paper ballot. I chose paper because it was faster. I don't want to hear ANYONE from the libtarded side complain about ballots or access!!!!!
-
Yes, today, no wait time. :-)
R down the line.
-
In and out in 10 minutes.
-
Did the early voting thing the other week. Quick and painless.
-
Voted. Didn't get to it until about 4pm, whole process took about 15mins.
-
Bosslady let the other half go early and he voted the R. He said it was starting to pick up there, but he was done in 10 minutes. I even had time to do my strength training already! Now on to studying. Thank God...hate watching this crap close out.
-
I voted. Saw more people than usual. Took about 10 minutes.
-
Done, both the missus and I.
-
Oregon does Vote by mail. I had my ballot stamped and back in the mailbox 2 hours after I got it.
-
of course. 1133, walked right up but I usually am around 600. Thats the Chesterfield County on the Virginia map on Fox.
-
Got there at 3:50, I was about 80th in line, took an hour of waiting and 3 minutes to vote.
-
Wife, 5-month old daughter, and myself, around 10:30 this morning.
There, I voted. Now I can bitch about it for the next four years.
-
Last Friday. Me and my wife both did.
