I want to make some calls into swing states. The campaign provides a script, but I hate reading from a script when making calls. Usually, when I get these calls, my first instinct is to hang up.
I want to make a few notes before calling and was wondering what you thought would be the issues I should touch on.
I thought Obama's support of "infanticide," would be something even pro-choice people would be against...
Thanks.
Bit nervous, I am a first timer on this.

Check out our political ammo section. I would pick some snippets from there and run with it.

Taxes. Everyone that pays them relates to that.
Point out the recent fluttering on this out of the left and the history they have of promising cuts for the middle class and abandoning them after election day. Point out that no one has been able to see how Obama can pay for his trillion in new spending with the tax plan presented.

Thanks to everyone who gave me advice! I made a few calls. One call was with a 96 year old hard of hearing man. He says he stopped voting when he turned 90! I told him we really needed his vote because we don't want Obama as president. He said he would vote, but I didn't believe him. I think he just wanted to get off the phone and get back to his TV :( Another call was to a person in PA (all calls were to PA), and he promptly said he was voting for Obama and hung up. What are we going to do to move some voters??? Are there any folks out there that can make a few calls? It really wasn't all that bad.
