MIT scientists baffled by global warming theory, contradicts scientific data

Boston (MA) - Scientists at MIT have recorded a nearly simultaneous world-wide increase in methane levels. This is the first increase in ten years, and what baffles science is that this data contradicts theories stating man is the primary source of increase for this greenhouse gas. It takes about one full year for gases generated in the highly industrial northern hemisphere to cycle through and reach the southern hemisphere. However, since all worldwide levels rose simultaneously throughout the same year, it is now believed this may be part of a natural cycle in mother nature - and not the direct result of man's contributions.

British Parliament just passed a law regulating the cut of CO2 by 80% over the next 40 years.
They did this while it was snowing in London for the first time in 88 years... :thatsright:

It's the "Gore Effect", but it's now spreading to other idiots.
The phenomenon that leads to unseasonably cold temperatures, driving rain, hail, or snow whenever Al Gore visits an area to discuss global warming. Hence, the Gore Effect.
- Australia, November 2006: Al Gore is visiting two weeks before summer begins. The Gore Effect strikes: "Ski resort operators gazed at the snow in amazement. Parents took children out of school and headed for the mountains. Cricketers scurried amid bullets of hail as Melburnians traded lunchtime tales of the incredible cold." (The Age)
- New York, March 2004: "Gore chose January 15, 2004, one of the coldest days in New York City's history, to rail against the Bush administration and global warming skeptics... Global warming, Gore told a startled audience, is causing record cold temperatures." (NY Environment News)

That is easy enough to do, merely kill 80% of the population.
:thatsright:

A funny tidbit:
My daughter is home sick today and watching TV. They had the top 40 stupid things celebrities say and she told me that Al Gore said at two different times that "a Zebra can't change their spots". She was laughing so hard and said "what an idiot". Out of the mouths of babes........

Oh God.
Don't let the nocturnally foul one see this.
He'll fall down his basement stairs, breaking his neck.

Is he still here or did he run up to Canada to resupply his hockey sticks? I have, happily, not seen him in ages.

MIT is obviously anti-science fundamentalist Christian neocons out to destroy the Earth with pollution.

To cut Carbon Dioxide emmissions they can install plastic bags tightly over the heads of Gore, Pelosi, Reid, Frank etc. Just a thought :evillaugh:

Snowed in January of 2001 when I was there. Though I never actually got into the city, I was driving from Gatwick Int'l to the Ipswich/Martlesham-Heath area.

The evidence does not agree with the concept of global warming? Ok, something's wrong here.

as my professor in "Philosophy of Science" would have stated: A Theory contradicted by empirical evidence is not a theory, nor is it true. A valid theory msut be able to stand up when compared to empirical evidence. Otherwise, it is a religion, taken as a matter of faith.

Even religion can be treated empirically.
The divine, like the hypothesized dark matter, cannot be sensed...but its effects can be measured. I'll bet Gomhorra has one helluva carbon footprint. But more to the point: the measure of the presence or absence of Justice and Mercy. They are not tangible--or even quantifiable--but they seem to have an effect.
Aso a religion may make historical claims, i.e. a man lived, was executed by the state and was seen to be alive again. Such claims can be empirically tested as with any secular historical claim.
