Machine Problems Frustrate Early Voters
Several Decatur County voters are concerned about problems with the voting machines at the Election Commission Office. Voters claim they tried to vote for McCain for President but the machine checked Obama instead.
The VRWC messes it up!! (http://www.decaturcountyonline.com/article.asp?art=1244) :thatsright:
:lmao:
At any rate, good article to save for when the O-fans claim "the election was stolen."

I can not understand why coming up with a secure and simple method of electronic voting is so impossible. Like the old saying goes, "We can put a man on the moon, but can't do this one simple thing and get it right". :banghead:

Um...Mr Smith is a NASA fanatic...they didn't get it right a lot.

True, NASA has had its failures, but the sentiment remains true. Electronic voting should be a simple thing compared to putting a man on the moon. I'd bet that a bunch of kids in some schools computer lab, could do as well as what the professionals have done so far.

Electronic voting is a simple thing. Correctly recorded results are not.
