The LA Times is holding a video that shows Barack Obama celebrating with a group of Palestinians who are openly hostile towards Israel. Barack Obama even gives a toast to a former PLO operative at this celebration. If the American public saw this side of Barack Obama he would never be elected president.
But, the media refuses to release this video.

As everyone else is saying, how likely is it that liberals would sit on a video of McCain or Palin?  In fact, they didn't when it came to the video of Gov. Palin simply welcoming the Alaska Independence Party to their convention in Fairbanks.  Liberals were all over that video and falsely claimed it proved she was a dangerous radical who wanted Alaska to secede form the Union.

Fox news was on this today. They should sue under the FIA and make them release it.

I don't think the FOIA applies to a civilian entity......

I DO wish they'd release the tape. Instead, they're going to protect their Obamassiah..... :whatever:

For what it's worth ...

Sarah Palin was just in Toledo, Ohio this morning and talked about the LA Times protecting Obama by refusing to release the tape it’s holding of him enjoying himself while anti-Semitic comments were made at a dinner honoring Palestinian Rashid Khalidi in 2003.

It feels to us like the pump is being primed for something to break on this tomorrow.

It also seems like FOX anchors know more about what’s on that tape than humanly possible without actually seeing it.

We personally believe tomorrow morning that tape will indeed be released, to steal the thunder of whatever Obama’s doing tonight on his big TV special. The exact same way McCain stole Obama’s thunder from the last night of the Democrats’ convention by announcing Sarah Palin as his VP the next morning.

Nobody talked about Obama’s speech the next day, because they were all talking about Palin.

Our hunch is nobody’s going to be talking about the Barack Obama Variety Half Hour TV Extravaganza tomorrow morning because they are going to be talking about the Khalidi tape instead — and quite possibly showing Obama nodding, laughing, and maybe even cheering as anti-Israeli remarks are made by Palestinians at this dinner.

Palin’s remarks today were very well crafted, and expertly delivered. Her choice of words was careful, deliberate, and somewhat out of normal syntax for her. We can usually spot the lines in a speech a candidate’s been given by campaign writers — and those the candidate incorporates from her or his own personal style. Everything to do with the Khalidi tape and the LA Times was straight Steve Schmidt. The rest of the speech was Palin being herself....

This video, according to the LAT, is "old news" since it happened in 2003, but they can trot out a 25-year old video of Palin during the swimsuit competition of the Miss Alaska pageant...

I think it was O'Reilly last night who said if there was anybody out there with a copy of the tape to send it to Fox and if it could be verified as authentic....it would be played on the air.

O'R said there was no way that there was just one copy of it....someone had to have another copy of it.

This site (http://dirtyharrysplace.com/?p=5302) is offering $175K to anyone who can produce video from that event. I hope someone sees dollar signs and gives up the video.

McCain Demands L.A. Times Release Video

Wednesday, October 29, 2008 8:50 AM

The John McCain campaign is demanding that the Los Angeles Times release a videotape showing Barack Obama at an event in Chicago honoring a Palestinian activist who reportedly served as a spokesman for Yasser Arafat.

As Newsmax reported on Tuesday, the 2003 event was a farewell party for Rashid Khalidi, who was leaving the University of Chicago to take a position at Columbia University in New York.

Obama, then an Illinois state senator, lavished praise on Khalidi at the party, as did unrepentant terrorist Bill Ayers, according to Andrew C. McCarthy, contributing editor at National Review, who disclosed Khalidi’s link to “master terrorist” Arafat. The Times confirmed in April that it had a copy of the videotape.

Several hours after the Newsmax story appeared, McCain spokesman Michael Goldfarb said: “A major news organization is intentionally suppressing information that could provoke a clearer link between Barack Obama and Rashid Khalidi.”

The videotape, he said, could show how Obama responded to a poem recited by a young Palestinian at the party accusing Israel of “terrorism” in its treatment of Palestinians and sharply criticizing U.S. support of Israel. If Palestinians cannot secure their own land, she said, “then you will never see a day of peace.”

Goldfarb called the poem “hate speech,” adding: “The election is one week away, and it’s unfortunate that the press so obviously favors Barack Obama that this campaign must publicly request that the Los Angeles Times do its job — make information public.”

The newspaper hasn’t explained why it won’t release the video, according to Ben Smith of Politico.com.

Times spokeswoman Nancy Sullivan told Smith: “When we reported on the tape six months ago, that was our full report.”

Perhaps somebody will cave to the pressure.

In addition, I DO believe that the LA Times did an article on this back when it happened and that's where some of the other outlets are getting their info.

So what's a little genocidal anti-semitism so long as it can usher in the new millenium of socialist peace and justice?

And the LAT just laid off 75 people -- perhaps one of these will need a few shekels to get them through the day...

Obama is a snake.

Nah.  Snakes are needed, critical predators that eat vermin like rats.  One of the nation's first flags bore the image of a snake with the motto "Don't tread on me."
