The presidential candidate who sang "Bomb bomb Iran" is already looking towards the war after the war in Iraq.
Sen. John McCain told a crowd of supporters on Sunday, "It's a tough war we're in. It's not going to be over right away. There's going to be other wars." Offering more of his increasingly bleak "straight talk," he repeated the claim: "I'm sorry to tell you, there's going to be other wars. We will never surrender but there will be other wars."
McCain did not elaborate who the United States would be fighting. But he did warn the crowd to be ready for the ramifications of current and future battles.
"And right now - we're gonna have a lot of PTSD to treat, my friends," he said. "We're gonna have a lot of combat wounds that have to do with these terrible explosive IEDs that inflict such severe wounds. And my friends, it's gonna be tough, we're gonna have a lot to do."

As far as the comment about "repukes don't sacrifice their sons and daughters"......hmmm....I'm a life long Republican and my son is finishing up 5 years in the Navy. (Daddy's a surgeon - wasn't a question of needing money for school)
A couple of good friends'...their son is a DI at Parris Island after 2...yes TWO....tours in Iraq. Another....her son is finishing tank school at Knox (he's a cousin of the DI). Another...her son is in the Marines (his daddy's a Dr, too) (all Republicans)
Will we need a draft.....damn right if the Democrats get back the Presidency.
I remember all the guys I went to school with going to VietNam.....Johnson was president.... I seem to remember him being a card-carrying elected Democrat :confused:

eye opening.
The wheels are in place for at least an aerial bombardment of Iran. when I heard McCain say what he did today, it made my skin crawl. This is in the works people.
Ritter said the window of opportunity is June or October of this year.

I love it when the primitives get all sacrimonious and make it seem like no evil republican's kid is in the military! for the record there moonbats, this is one 'rethuglican' who HAS been to Iraq and who also has a son in the military. He was on the USS Kitty Hawk when your buddies, the ChiComs, turned his ship away from Hong Kong.
