They say early voting is good for Obama, right ?
DENVER - Marla Soukap is one of thousands of voters in Colorado who decided to vote early. Soukap has traditionally voted by mail.
On Wednesday, she dropped off her mail ballot at one of Denver's early voting centers. This year, she turned in her ballot partially because of her concerns about potential problems at the poll.
"There have been just too many reports coming in from other states already with problems with voting machines, and I don't want to be in long lines in November," said Soukap.
According to early voting statistics posted by Colorado's Secretary of State on Tuesday, 96,104 mail-in ballots were returned by Democrats. Republicans turned in 99,306. When looking at the number of voters who showed up at early voting centers, 9,173 were Democrats and 6,309 were Republicans.
"When you actually add it all together I'm not sure if it's much more than a wash," said Norman Provizer, Political Science Professor at Metropolitan State College of Denver.

Very very encouraging - a virtual TIE in Colorado with early voting, which is supposed to have The Obamessiah miles ahead. Read the rest at the link above.

early voters are obama voters. let's hope they come prematurely.

Absitively Posolutely - Democrats should be way ahead on the headcount with all of the new registrations. They aren't. So, Either the Obama miricle isn't as mighty as promised - or those registered Republicans are all converts to the Church of Obama.

Not bloody likely. I just got done walking my precinct with a survey from the Weld County Republicans, and I think we'd all throw our votes to Cynthia McKinney before we'd usher in the 1,000 year reign of teh Obamessiah.

Does that include those of us that voted early by absentee ballot?

I just had no desire to stand in line at the polls for over two hours again this year.

Thats pretty much what I figured - but I didn't want to defy the might of "The One" without any evidence to the contrary.

This doesn't bode well for the Obamafuerher if the Pennsylvainia and Colorado and Ohio and Florida is this tight.

It makes anything he'll try to do in the way of vote fraud just that much more transparent.

No it doesn't - It really shouldn't be tight at all, considering Bush-fatigue, GWoT, and the market crisis. Obama should be up by 20 or better points. I've said it before, Obama just cant seem to close what should be the easiest deal since Regan's second term.

IMHO, Sarah Palin is the only thing that is making this a contest. If McCain had picked any of the RINO men on the supposed short list, the social conservatives and Libertarian conservatives would be staying home in droves and McCain would be vying with George McGovern for "Biggest Loser in Election History." (Huckabee not so much a RINO, but while he might have brought the White evangelicals in, he would still have left the Libertarians and probably the fiscal conservatives cold, and I'm not sure McCain was even really seriously considering him).
-
Don't you think Mike Huckabee is a very articulate person? I know he doesn't appeal to a broad base, but he sure has a lot of charisma. I enjoy watching his show on Fox. I agree that Sarah Palin has livened up the McCain ticket. I shudder to think where he would have been without her.

huck is a great conversationalist, and is absolutely right on all conservative issues. he is very well spoken, and is an incredibly appealing candidate. if someone could convince me that being brought before his own ethics committee 10 times during his tenure as arkansas governor was a farce, I would be a big supporter of his . . . .

I agree - Maybe it was planned, but knowing McCain, its just as likely that selecting Palin was a happy accident. Anyway, she has credentials that appeal to conservatives, and a compelling story and demeanor that appeals to the mushy middle. As a whole, she makes nobody totally happy, and other than the moonbats who are suffering from massive psychological trauma caused by their unmediated Palinsanity and the snotty latte-sippers on both sides of the isle, noone totally dislikes her either.
And I mean it about the Latte-sippers, including conservatives. Look at the list of Republicans who now back Obama, and you'll agree.

the only thing that worried me about her was the troopergate thing, but that has turned out to be but a blip on the radar. that lady will be president one day, bank on it.

In 2012, it may come down to a battle of the sexy--Palin and Hillary! Ooops.....don't think Hillary will fit into that category. But it may be the two ladies.....ooops sorry again, don't think Hillary fits into that category either. Oh well.....it will be interesting to see if we all survive until then!

Other than the fact that McKinney has more experience in Congress and a slightly worse hairstyle, there's not a nickel's worth of difference between these two Marxists.
-
Palin is the only reason this is till a race. Were it not for her, I would be quietly practicing goosesteps for the new reign of the obamafurer. McCain has the uncanny ability to rain on his own parade.
I voted for the turkey, mostly because he is not going to make it past 2012. He is a stopgap on the way to total collapse.
Conservatives traditionally do better in mail in elections here in oregon anyway.

Words fail me when I attempt to tell you how glad and am of that.

Except Lord Barry knows how to properly package bullshit sandwiches for sale in the lobby, and McKinney couldn't sell liquor to a drunk. Hence the reason that da BarackFather! is a clear and present danger to the Republic, and Cynthia McKinney is just another rabid moonbat.
