Obama, bought & paid for-
That’s right. This politician has been bought and paid for. There are people out there that are going to be expecting some very special favors, and they will be coming to collect on 1/20/09, and he had better be ready to pay up.
Who are these people? Lobbyist for the oil companies? Big pharma? Financial interests? For the love of God, is it the dreaded trial lawyers, the un-American ACLU? Defense contractors?
Nope. Not so much. It’s us. The US of A. The American people. That’s right, I personally own a piece of the Obama Presidency, a whopping 175.00 to be exact, and I do expect him to pay up. I am the special interest he is now beholding to and I want quid pro quo. I want favors for my money, I want influence in high places, I want what is due to me.
At no other time in history have the American people so bought a President. At no other time in history have the American people been the special interest group, and now we are. Small donations from you, from me, from our next door neighbors and friends and family have supported this candidate and we are all looking forward to our payoff.
Universal health insurance. That’s right, it was probably someone named BobbySue from Arkansas that made sure Obama would come through on that promise with her generous donation of 100 big ones. (I mean dollars.) That’s a bill she bought and paid for, and like all good politicians Obama will make sure BobbySue and the rest of us get what we deserve. You know those politicians, always doing favors for the big money special interests.
An end to the war. Finally! I believe it was Nick from Detroit that paid off Obama to make sure this one happens. His 25 bucks made sure we would pull our troops out of Iraq in a safe and orderly fashion and restore our credibility in the world. Thanks Nick! It’s a good thing Obama is so easy to bribe.
Fair taxes and help for the working class? It was probably Susan in Seattle that bought us this one with her 85 dollars. Thanks Susan! Now, because Obama is once again bought and paid for, he’s going to have to come through on rolling back the Bush tax cuts for the rich and making the countries tax system work for not just the rich, but all of us. Way to go Susan.
Obama is the first President bought by the special interest that is the American people. We are the special interest this time, and it’s our agenda for once, that he must follow.
And that, is a good thing. For the first time, I’m glad we’ll have a President that can be bought, especially since we have been the ones buying his influence.
The American citizen, the ultimate special interest.

You, the IT megacorps, Big Labor, George Soros, mortgage bankers (who may be havin some buyer's remorse at this point), major media outlets, and a lot of foreign guys from Arabic-speaking countries who have been using sub-$200 contributor 'bots.
