Title: I held my nose and marked my ballot yesterday
Post by: Baruch Menachem on October 20, 2008, 07:43:24 AM
It goes in the mail tomorrow.

I am feeling like a citizen of the late Roman republic marking a vote for Crassus rather than Caesar, knowing that they are in cahoots, or some poor schmuck of the late Weimar Republic casting a vote for Von Papen rather than Hitler, knowing von Papen to be a total tool, but not so much a menace as Adolf himself.  More fool me.

And truely, it is more a vote for Sarah than it is for McCain.  As much as you can trust any politician, which is as far as  you can toss a moose,  I give her my trust.  McCain, not at all.

Thanks; at least if Obama ends up with his unskilled hands on the important levers and buttons, you can take solace in the fact that you at least did what you could to prevent it.

Cast my vote last week.  Can't say I had to hold my nose at all.  Given the alternative, I'm quite eager to have McCain win.

Same here. We have early voting for the next few days so I got some time to run down to Friar Tuck's (http://www.friartuckonline.com/home.html) beforehand to make it easier.

My wife and I are going to vote this weekend, hopefully we won't have to face down the Obama thugs.
