Florida Boy, 12, Arrested After Throwing Sticks at Pregnant Teacher
PALM BAY, Fla. — A 54-pound sixth-grader is in police custody after he was was handcuffed and arrested at his Central Florida school for throwing sticks at a pregnant teacher and kicking another instructor.
Jason Stewart Lord was charged Thursday with battery on a pregnant woman and battery on a school official, both felonies. Palm Bay Police Department spokeswoman Yvonne Martinez says the 12-year-old was taken to a juvenile detention center where he was expected to stay overnight.
Martinez says the boy also punched the pregnant teacher last week but school officials decided to handle the matter internally at the time.

Wow. When I was in school, hitting a pregnant teacher would have resulted in a severe a$$ beating....from your fellow students. Then you would have been dragged to the dean's office.

He needs a nice spanking from the paddle, "Old Spanky". We had to fill out corporal punishment consent forms, but they never used it. The last time I remember it being used was in elementary school.

This kid is still breathing after hitting a pregnant teacher? Lemme guess--daddy ain't around to open up the 55-gallon drum of whoopass that I would have gotten had I even THOUGHT of something like that from my father.
Come to think of it, it was pretty well understood by me, my father, and all my teachers that if I even LOOKED at them cross-eyed, it was my fault, and woe be unto me should I survive long enough to get home.

Lug Nut, you need to remember that violence WILL NOT be tolerated in our schools.... :whatever:
Our public school system has emasculated our young people. And, Lord forbid that a parent actually discipline their child with anything other than a "time out" or a loss of privileges.

Oh, it wasn't in the schools *wink, wink*. Such "corrective measures" took place on the playground/ball field/parking lot. Anyone who struck a teacher or any female student had better hope their parents pick them up from school and drop them off every morning for a very long time. :uhsure:
