The girl child is at dance, and we have the youngest's first basketball game today at noon. He wanted to put his uniform on when he got up! :rotf:
This afternoon I'm taking my daughter and a couple of her friends to a movie. I'll drop them off and hang out at the mall while I wait for them.
And I get to go to the grocery store, too! Yay!
TOTD: Tylenol (or the equivelent) or Motrin (or the equivelent)?
-
Thank goodness. I'm still in bed :D
No idea. Mr. Red comes home this evening. Maybe we'll bake a little today.
Usually Motrin/Ibuprofen is what I take.

Good morning; it was a rough night.
I wish lurksalot were here; I need to know if one 200mg tablet of Tagamet is going to do me a lot of good, good, some good, or nothing at all.
-
tagamet is an anti-nausea med, right? Sorry you had a rough night, Frank!!
-
I've been up since 4:30, got to work at 6. So far I've been outside all morning. Now we've warmed up to a positively balmy 25. Yay.

Days are made of yesterdays and tomorrows. Noggin messes with its cartoon schedule on Saturdays and Sundays just so I'll know it's the weekend.
Dollar General Headache and Pain Relief. I don't know what it is. The PM Tablets are some good sh*t, man. :drunksailor:
Oh yeah, the weather. After not getting out of the 30's yesterday, it's suppose to be near 70 today.

Well, my problem is, other than aspirin, I haven't taken any hard-core chemical drugs for three years; the last time was when I had to take an antibiotic packed in a pellet large enough to be a suppository for a bison, when I had that one women's problem.
I've never been on any prescription drugs, in my life.
I grew up in a medical family; I just don't like to mess with chemical drugs stronger than aspirin.
No point in taking it if it's only going to do slight good, or no good.

Hey, Flame..I was just thinking about this thread.
I'm sick..not miserably so, just an icky cold. I have to study for a test I have in a couple of days. Just popping in to say hello this morning and answer any mail or pm's I have.
TOTD: Advil and Tylenol...I usually take one of Advil and if it doesn't do the trick, a couple hours later I'll take a tylenol. I don't usually ever take the full amount. I usually don't need it. One normally does the trick.

My mother used to take it when she had stomach ulcers.
-
TOTD: Advil Gel-Caps
-
I'm up, I'm up.
I'm all out of Tylenol and anything else. God, my eye hurts. I hafta go to the store for some relief.

Stomach ulcers are what killed my mother at 48.
-
TOTD: Tylenol Allergy-Sinus. Kills any headache--and I usually get mine right between the eyes.
-
I was a lazy bum today. I slept in almost to 9 :uhsure:
TOTD: Advil usually, but only if I've already had a decent amount to eat. It messes it up my stomach if I haven't eaten enough.
Weather. Low 50's expected today, with good chance of rain.

Well, my frickin alarm clock didn't go off when it was supposed to (no, I did NOT hit the snooze button). I woke up about an hour ago. :( I may head over to Wal-Mart or Target and see what alarm clocks they have. And see which ones actually WORK!
TOTD: Tylenol.

Morning! Been up for awhile, baby girl not feeling good. :( My hubby tried to help me by rocking her but no, she wanted Mommy. So I have drank almost a pot of coffee and STILL tired and got the shakes. Went out last night for an unexpected girls night with my new mom's group, had a few Long Islands and bad spinach dip. Good times. Going to do a lot of cleaning today maybe tonight go over to a friend's for some Guitar Hero 3. Drinking:Possible.
TOTD: It depends. If it is for swelling, I'll take store brand Motrin, I rather not take much of it because of the liver damage it could do so I try to be careful. For headaches, Tylenol Migraine. I get BAD migraines. :(

Mother got out of the hospital (knee replacement surgery) yesterday so I spent some time over at my sister's house helping with her. She's constipated, God help me! Yeah, yeah, TMI! It's the pain meds and the combination of being full of shit (literally) that make her hard to handle. She's mean! I swear it! She also has a UTI. It's not a pleasant situation.
She was supposed to stay in another section of the hospital for at least another week - 10 days for rehab. Nope! No room there, we're sending you home! :censored: drive by hospital!
Since my sister also cares for her 90 yr old MIL (woman will out live us all!) I will have to help as much as I can. No biggie. We're all good about pulling together in times like these.
TOTD: Neither. I take Goody powders. They work on everything from headaches to cramps and everything in between!

I've been shopping this afternoon. I bought a cute little candle centerpiece from Walmart. I'm thinking the candle that came with it is too small so I might go to JoAnn's later to look for a bigger one. I also bought some new placemats and a kitchen rug. Woot!
TOTD: I'm an Advil girl all the way.
