20. Proper spelling is for elitists.
Only big city elitists on the East Coast can spell and use proper grammar. Good spellers hate America.

DUmmies would say it's because we're all "loosers".
-
The projection over there is astounding....astounding.
-
I think DUmmies should enact "marshall law" to crack down on bad spelling.
-
Actually, I suspect most spelling mistakes are probably the result of time constraints or lack of proof reading, not level of intelligence, but whatever fits to their silly stereotypes.
*and I'm saying this as someone who is generally pretty accurate with spelling to the point my other half uses me as a walking dictionary when he's writing something* (don't judge my spelling here btw :lmao: I do both the things I mention above, besides seeing posting on a forum as a very casual vehicle for communication)

:rotf:
This brought to you by the people who live in fear of "Marshall Law"
:lmao:

Walla! That looks like a plan!

Their going to have allot of work to do, but the affects should be worth it. :-)

I knew if I went over there I would find some misspellings in this very thread;

8. Disdain for fact,
you know, like how to spell words, basic math, understanding what they word "theory" mean, inductive and deductive logic, skepticism, etc.

22. I'm glad you asked!
I've been thinking about this for years! Years, I tell ya!
I'm not a scientist or a doctor, but I believe that there is something fundamentally wrong with most conservatives - in a physiological sense. It's almost like a form of retardation and the inability to spell is just one of the symptoms. I'm' thinking that one day we'll discover that it is something as simple as their mothers not getting enough potassium while they they were carrying them. Some of them can be "trained" to spell better - but it's a most basic "tell" when you're dealing with a typical right winger.
There brains have gaps where they shouldn't and make connections were they shouldn't. They're "wired" just slightly off.
Who among us here hasn't been able to accurately "guess" a persons political affiliation based on their spelling? Just the other day I saw a common right wing mis-spelling of "loser" here as "looser". And knew before I even clicked that they were going to have a low post count.

I like the DUmmies to explain blogs by O'Donnell and Streisand.. Are they really VRWC deep-cover operatives ? At least it seems Streisand has finally learned the magic of spell check.
-
A freeper would never hold a sign that said "Hillary was right" -- so sorry freakshows, wrong party.
-
why is it you suppose that Freepers can't spell???
I won`t begin to pretend to be an expert on sentence structure but this sounds a little odd.
Would it not be proper if it was phrased....why is it do you suppose that Freepers can't spell???...or am I mistaken?

Or "Why do you suppose that freepers can't spell???" Simple and to the point.
As for what Tex quoted, I am lmao at the very common misspelling of misspell. (mis-spell---->>>> :lmao: equals it doesn't look right, but I'm sure it's right so I'll put a hyphen in between the two letters) You would think that out of that entire screed, the one thing the individual could get correct was the spelling for the word misspell. I suppose he just misstepped :uhsure: :-).
-
Just making an off hand guess here, but don't most of those signs look like they're being held by Democrat voters?
-
Hell, the way things are going, no one spells worth a damn anymore....and proper grammar is non existant. All political parties have enough bad examples of both that nobody should be throwng stones!

63. heh It's kind of funny that you have so many misspelled words
in your post.
I know, I have a low post count and probably shouldn't point that out but it hit me as funny.
I think some people are simply better spellers than others and political affiliation doesn't matter.

65. I know!
And we have a spell checker underlining every one in red to let me know while I'm misspelling it too! LOL
I'll grant that nobody is going to ever hire me as a writer - and yeah, both sides have bad spellers. There's a pattern to theirs is what I think was being keyed on in this post. I may mis-spell a word, you may mis-spell a word, but they're probably not going to be the same word, the same way.
It's almost like most right wingers went to an alternate school with an alternate dictionary.
Why do so many of them spell loser "looser"? Moron "moran"? Ridiculous "rediculous"? Maverick "mavrick"?
Oh, and welcome to DU! I wasn't hatin' on the low post count people, not even the one I referenced in my post. I didn't follow them around to see if they were "posing", a recent convert, or just a bad speller like me who just coincidentally happened to spell loser like a freeper.
Nope, it would never 'mis-spell' the same word twice!!

Good call, Carl :lmao:
This is just another typical liberal who thinks they far surpass conservatives in intelligence, because they are more "skilled" and "adept" with English.
How childish of them.
