Romo has broken pinkie, out four weeks

IRVING, TEXAS (TICKER) —One day after suffering a painful loss to the Arizona Cardinals, the Dallas Cowboys lost Tony Romo for a month.
Romo has a fractured pinkie finger on his throwing hand, an injury that will sideline the Pro Bowl quarterback for four weeks.
Romo suffered the injury during Sunday’s 30-24 loss at Arizona, which became the first team in NFL history to win an overtime contest on a touchdown off a blocked punt.
According to a post on the Cowboys’ official web site, Romo sustained the injury on the first play of overtime. Sideline cameras showed Romo favoring his hand during the series, and his third-down pass attempt fluttered far away from its intended target.
One of the weeks that he'll be out is the bye week, according to the story at the link:

it's not the absolute end of the world. dallas will play brad johnson at StL, vs. tampa, at NYG, and then a bye week. he will be missed against the giants, but the rest of it is generally manageable.

I hate seeing injuries to any player, but Romo and a pinkie injury? Are they trying to kill me here? :uhsure:

That's the second quarterback to have a forced vacation at the hands of the Cardinals team. The local fans here are loving it.

I dont feel bad seeing any injuries on dallas truth be told :)
I can count the days till big mouth (TO) starts yapping. Romo is the most overrated QB in the last ten years IMHO.

::) McNabb's had, what, two healthy seasons in his career? Every year it's another knee issue. My heart doesn't exactly bleed for Romo and his little dinky-pinky.
