When we criticize America...

It's not because we're pining for some far off fjord, or wishing that we should all be speaking French.

We criticize America because we love it and we ******* straight want it to get its ****ing shit together.

We criticize America like a parent calls a child on his or her bad behavior.

We criticize America because we understand that there are dire consequences for too many people here, and all around the world when we are ****ing up.

We criticize America when it refuses to live up to its potential.

We know that we can be better.

Isn't it funny that the most hateful people in America only criticize it when it does the right things?

Isn't is funny that these backward ****s love the times when America craps all over everything, points at the crap with a smile and says, "Look at what I did"?

Isn't it funny that they act like co-dependents who are constantly abused by their spouses and always come back for more abuse?

Isn't it funny that they hate America's potential and will do everything in their power to stand in its way?

Of course, it's not funny. It's a God Damned shame.

Anyway, the time is up on these assholes and it's about ****ing time, don't you think?

For the longest time America has been ****ing up BIG TIME, and only a blind, frightened fool will see it otherwise.

Shit's gotta change. Change is so apropos... No wonder the Barack Obama has made the word the cornerstone of his campaign. His leadership for changed has been recognized. No need for focus groups or scientific study... it's common sense.

Change won't be easy. We all know it, but it will happen.

The assholes but ****ed up America mighty good, thank you very much.

PS. I invite any brain dead, hate mongering, pee pants, racist dumb ass to challenge me if they disagree.

If they don't, they're either ****ing cowards, or hypocrites, or both!

Happy Columbus Day!
How exactly are they supposed to respond to you when they will be buried under troll calls and banned inside of ten minutes at your glorious bastion of free speech you moron?

 As our candidate said, ENOUGH!.

I love this country and its ideals. When it forgets them, damn straight I'll speak up.

PS. May I hold your coat when and if the dumb asses show up?

4. I HATE columbus day. We celebrate a murderer, a torturer, the
man who caused the extermination of entire islands of innocents.

AND HE WAS A LUCKY **** UP, not an intrepid explorer who found what he was searching for. Indies? my ass.

America was found twice, once from the west, and far earlier from the east. America was fully populated by hundreds of indian tribes, until they were killed off, deliberately given disease, and starved.

**** columbus. If we are to see the seeds of horrible acts done by America, let's start at the very beginning.

When I was younger I was raised to be a Carter liberal. I too grew-up hearing the tales of the white man's rapacious exploits.

Mama tells me daddy was 1/2 Puerto Rican and 1/2 Carib native (his mama).

Wanting to be a good liberal I wanted to share in the hate-fest of all things Columbus and by extension...white, Christian European.

So, I looked-up the Caribs--from which we derive Caribbean...

...it seems they were cannibals.

How the hell was I supposed to hate the white Christianization of a people who were cannibals?

How could I condemn the "tribalism" of loathing the USSR (simply as a political paradigm, not counting 25 million murders of course) but embrace the tribalism that lead to eating of humans?

I was told that it was ceremonial, that the victim was being honored because he had fought so bravely his soul would live on in the body of the one who ate him.

An honor?

Try telling that to the guy getting eaten.

How the **** do rich, white people living under within a consensual government that protects their free speech even when they criticize that very same government say such brain-addled bullshit with any sense of sincerity?

That was one of the stronger fissures that started to seperate me from liberalism.*

* For those that have read my fiction, it is also where I developed my love of writing vampire fiction. It's my way of saying, "There! How do you like it now Mr Moral-Relativist?"

They should love Columbus after all he was one of the first Democrats.

He didn't know where he was going.
He didn't know where he was when he got there.
He used somebody else's money to do it.

Pining for a fjord? Is he talking about the Norwegian Blue? It has lovely plumage.

Someone needs to burn a mole and just reply with: "Come over to my cave chicken shit and I'll take you up on your offer."

We criticize America like a parent calls a child on his or her bad behavior.

Ah, the root of the problem is revealed.  MrScorpio falsely believes he is a parent, or that he is even an adult, when in fact he is the child who will be corrected.

Oh, and I disagree with you, and my disagreement (along with countless millions of others) will be voiced through my wallet should your little muslim boy candidate win the WH.  You see MrS, it's not enough to have the majority of individuals on your side, you need to have the right individuals, and as it stands you don't have the people with capital who are willing to to go along with his stupidity, so you're sunk.  You'll see it in action soon enough should he win.  Whether you'll admit to yourself that's the cause of his failure is a completely different matter.
