of the 1st CBT, 3rd ID to domestic operations, how will you react IF they decide that Obama's lead is too great to steal the election and instead the president simply cancels it?

Seriously - how do you expect him to halt the election with one military unit?
If this were a coup move, I rather doubt they would have announced it several weeks ahead in the Army Times. But I have no doubt that following an election, we'll move to speculation that Obama (if he wins) won't be allowed to take office and there'sll be a 'December surprise'...and if Obama goes on to take office there'll be another conspiracy theory about the BFEE trying to take over whenever he leaves DC.
I worry somewhat about RW extremists attempting treason, but not in relation to this particular news item.

are trained killers. They are not bound to the Constitution. They are sworn to serve ONLY the Commander in Chief. They're #1 goal is to complete the mission they are given. No matter where that mission takes them.

You ignorant turd. Damned near none of the guys and girls in the battalions and the brigade HQ will have been through all those rotations, a lot of them are new fills because everyone who was stop-lossed for the last deployment evaporated from the unit by now. There are people with real problems among them, no doubt, just like the population at large, but going to war does not automatically render you damaged goods. Most of them are really still kids, just kids with an Iraq tour behind them and so a leavening of life-and-death experience most of their contemporaries lack. And guess what, a combat zone tour is not 12 or 15 months of unrelieved misery, IEDs at every turn, and daily close combat ground assaults, it's mostly just boredom and staying out of the 1SG's/CSM's line of sight with the occasional rocket, mortar round, mission, or asshole with a rifle to add about the same level of risk to it that cops working in Democrat-controlled cities face. They have no more personal loyalty to George W. Bush than you traitorous DU scum have. The coup thing is ridiculous, as even major moonbats like cali can tell.

I recall all kinds of primitive outrage at Phoenix Sky Harbor when the Guard was placed there in '01. I also recall them being the model of professionalism, in the face of hyperventilating DUmbshits bloviating dangerously close to these gentlemen's faces about their 'Rights'.
