 Ms. Seuffert:

First, when you launch into a description of horrible terrorism in your third sentence, you discredit your argument because it is a cheap appeal to readers' fears.

The truth is that under an Obama administration America will be far less hated by others around the world and be far less likely to be attacked.
His record, his integrity and his great skills speak for themselves.

So, SKP actually thinks we were attacked because we were so hated...8 months into Bush's term...after 8 years of Clinton?  What does this tell us about Dim presidents??   :o :o

The article they hate...

Why Obama's inexperience matters

Virginia Seuffert (http://wednesdayjournalonline.com/main.asp?SectionID=3&SubSectionID=3&ArticleID=12487&TM=70713.95)

The promised plan for this month is to demonstrate how Illinois Senator Barack Obama's lack of meaningful foreign policy experience is an insurmountable obstacle to his ability to lead the country during these troubled times.

No other issue is more important! After all, when the bomb explodes, after the building collapses or the train derails, it matters little if a citizen favors legal abortion or its abolition, gay marriage or traditional family values, the nanny state or personal responsibility; people under siege seek only to survive.

Debates during the Democrats' primary season exposed Senator Obama's glaring lack of international experience as well as his questionable prudence in this key area. During a 2007 debate in South Carolina, he was asked, "Would you be willing to meet ... during the first year of your administration, in Washington or anywhere else, with the leaders of Iran, Syria, Venezuela, Cuba and North Korea?" Senator Obama responded that he would, adding that punishing errant nations by not engaging them in dialogue is "ridiculous."

To quote Hillary Clinton, this response was "irresponsible and frankly naïve," and clearly indicated that Senator Obama does not understand how such meetings could be used as propaganda, should not be scheduled unless the intentions of these leaders are understood, and can easily make the international situation worse, not better.

>>>

Other aspects of Obama's foreign policy should certainly bear careful examination, including his flip-flop approval/disapproval/abstention regarding ratification of a treaty President Clinton signed which would subject Americans, including American military personnel, to the International Criminal Court, potentially denying them cherished American rights like the presumption of innocence, trial by jury, and the right against self-incrimination. Finally, even citizens who are opposed to the war in Iraq may question the wisdom of broadcasting a schedule of troop withdrawal to our nation's enemies.

>>>

I can already hear the cries of Oak Park liberals demanding to know how Alaska Governor Sarah Palin is any more experienced in international affairs than Senator Obama. The answer, of course, is that while she has considerably more administrative experience, she is not any more qualified in foreign policy than the Democratic nominee. What she is-well, she's Number Two on the ticket. Number One on the Republican ticket is Senator John McCain, who has decades of outstanding accomplishment in both domestic and foreign affairs, is a bona-fide hero, and has proved himself ready and willing to make the correct call in spite of party pressure. Governor Palin's inexperience may be a heartbeat away from the presidency, but Senator Obama would be directing America's security on the first day-something that gives my heart chills!

Voters have no reason to believe that John McCain will not live to finish out his term. He has shown amazing energy during this grueling campaign, the president gets the best medical care available, and he has great genes. His mother, Roberta McCain, has actively campaigned for her son in spite of her 96 years. His grandfather lived to be 95, although his grandmother only made it to 87.

No wonder they're angry.   :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

He does have a point.  Terrorists don't find the need to attack when they can get what they want from a leader who's willing to appease them.  And B. Hussein would do exactly that.
