I overheard a conversation at the pump.
Two men were talking about Obama and his past.

guy 1: U heard about Obama's ties when he was 8 years old?
guy 2: What the hell that has to do with Gas prices..I mean look at this shit(while pumping gas) and my business. Shit, My son may have to drop out of college this year due to this crisis.

guy 1: That is exactly my point, the republicans are focusing on things that has nothing to do with our problems. my 401K has dropped almost 10 percent. He may be black, but i dont give a damn. Obama can fix this s**t
guy 2: Hell yeah! **** McCain.

Its hitting home hard!!

So, I had to go to the gas station this morning.

I pulled it next to a pump that has diesel.  I unlocked my gas cap.  I put my card in the slot.  I put in 5 gallons (that'll last me all week).  I put the nozzle back and closed the gas cap.  Got back into my car. I drove away.

Damn, how come these gas station bouncies never happen to me????  The most anyone has ever said to me was "WAIT, THAT'S DIESEL YOU'RE PUTTING IN!!!" (always a guy that's "saving" me from ruining my engine.)  Heck, I even have a political bumper sticker, nothing!  I must be going to the wrong gas stations.

I've been voting since Nixon, and I've never overheard a political conversation at a gas station, grocery store, family get-togethers, or anywhere else except on TV. Real people, even moonbats, just don't talk like that in public. I'm about ready to believe that virtually 100% of really goofy bouncies, like this one, are posted by moles who are baiting the DUmmies to make their stupid comments and secondary bouncies.

That is the clumsiest, dumbest bouncy tale I've read in a long time. They keep getting worse. But watch this thread and see if other DUmmies don't chime in with similar lame lies.

Actually, this morning when I was in the big city, I saw my fourth real-life Obamaite.

At a gasoline station, Minnesota license plates, obviously of a certain gender orientation.

I admired his necklaces and gave him the Nelson Rockefeller treatment.

It was hilarious.

I never talk to people at the gas station.  If I do, it's because someone's trying to stop me before I put in diesel and then we chat about the car, but that's it.

Actually, it's a little bit easier to get engaged in conversations at gasoline pumps around here, because it's not like there's hundreds of people swarming all over the place.

I get my gas on post.  Funny that these types of conversations NEVER happen there.

Gas was $3.04 here yesterday, same price for 87 and 89 in fact at the Moto-Mart where I tanked up.  Nobody seems to be bitching about the price of gas right now.

There are two stations I go to and both are always packed.  This morning I was already running late for work, plus it was raining so traffic was horrible.  I was more concerned with filling up and getting out of there an on my way.  A couple of weeks ago I did give a girl a dirty look.  Every pump was full and she was done and I was waiting on her and she had gotten back in her car and proceeded to talk on the phone for 3 or 4 minutes.   :censored:

I tried to get into a gas station bouncy several months back but sadly the two that were having a very DUmmy conversation managed to drive off before I got done paying for my goods. The one thing I have noticed is the utter lack of excitement about Obama here. And I live in a highly populated city, In the eastern half of the Commonwealth, only 50 or so miles from Boston.

Every now and then Ill spot a moonbatmobile, plastered with bumperstickers, but all-in-all very little in the way of yard signs, bumper stickers, etc.

Perhaps its because Massachusetts' electoral votes going Democrat is a forgone conclusion.

I've never had a gas station encounter, but last week I did have an encounter that involved the price of gas. I was doing some work for a client and he happened to be there at the time. We were talking after I finished and the conversation turned to gas prices. I mentioned that I was trying to reorganize my schedule to compensate for the gas price increase. He looked at me with a serious look on his face and said: You could vote for Obama. He can (he began laughing as he finished with) fix these prices.  When he got the laughter out of his system he said: I almost got it out with a straight face.

I was talking about gas prices yesterday, at a Stewart's near where we live, and the elderly gentleman on the other side of the pump (I didn't see him right off, just could hear him) told me he was shocked to see prices coming down!  $3.45/gal for 87 octane at this Stewart's.

I was hoping, when the conversation started, to have a bouncy encounter.  It was kind of a reverse bouncy, in that all we talked about was how gas prices were coming down.  But there was no political stuff discussed.  :( :( :(

I feel shame. :( :(  (Watch the first couple minutes of Slapshot and you'll understand.  In deference to bijou, I didn't add the English reference. ;) )

Yep, unobserved to the other side of the room, the oil bubble has been popped.  It was trading at $88 at the closing bell.

It's likely that many of the people here are too young to remember the Rockefeller treatment. I believe he was making a point to some odiferous John Eff'n Kerry antiwar types. I don't know how to post photos, but you can see one here:

I believe coach, a good and decent person, has posted a Sandhills bouncy.

I've got plenty of my own "bouncies" now.  In my work center at any given time theres about 100 people on the floor.  The election takes up about 90% of all non-work related discussions.

In 2 weeks, I haven't heard a single person say they where voting for Obama.  I'd say thats a good indication of where the US Military sits on the issue.  Though DUmmies don't care about that.  We're just brainwashed baby killers.   :whatever:

Mr Smith brought home a real live conversion story this weekend!!   :hyper: :hyper: :hyper:  His uncle was not only a Democrat, but even served a couple terms (not sure what office.)  He and his wife are voting McCain/Palin this time!!   :-)

I told him I'd post this for him, but warned him that his next bouncy must contain a bush and a cop.  He went  :???: :???: :???:.

There was a funny incident that took place up here in Nebraska, during the Obamaputsch of the "caucuses" last February.

All 93 Democrat county chairmen ran the things, each in his own county.

In a county near here, the Democrat county chairman told a reporter he and his wife were voting for the Big Zero in the caucuses.....and then for John McCain in November (the Nebraska caucuses took place about the same time it pretty much became a sure thing McCain had secured the Republican nomination).

No repercussions from nowhere, even though this was a big story in the Omaha World-Herald, and Nebraska has a pretty fair share of Democrats.

Since Katrina, most conversations I have at the
gas pumps usually involves me saying

"No I don't have any change"

Didn't want Hillary or Obama, I guess.   :-)

Nebraska does have Democrats, but a goodly number of them are actually thinking people.   :II:

No - New Bedford. Population of about 92K - Though teasing moonbats is pretty easy from here, as UMass Dartmouth is about 10 minutes from my house.

Exact opposite of the place where I work. Me and one other guy are voting for McCain... the rest either are voting for the Obamessiah, or staying home on November 4th and masturbating... I dunno. But as far as politics goes, I'm outnumbered 6 to 1 when politics do come up like the bailout bill.... last conversation ended up with my getting frustrated because here I am trying to train a new employee, and the boss is like "Well, we're all going to be standing in the breadlines thanks to you *******ed republicans!" (this is when the House voted against it). When I told him that 93 Dems voted against the bill as well and that Bush and McCain actually backed it, he said "Oh bullshit! What are you, some kind of political genius?" and that was pretty much it.

I ran into one person so far.  Our Regimental CSM.  We had a rousing discusison about all things politics.  I held my own which I think surprised him.  That and the fact I wasn't afraid to debate him on the issue! LOL!

H5 for having the guts to goi toe to toe with the CSM . . . When I was a 2LT, I may not have been a rocket scientist, but I knew just enough to realize that I had to keep the squadron CSM happy.  I was just smart enough to realize that when the CSM made a "suggestion" to me, that it would be a very good thing if I took that "suggestion."  (The squadron commander, the squadron CSM, and the mess personnel.  We ate very well in the two cav squadrons I was in, in the field.)

WTF is happening to the Proud??
