Eek! I have two librul hippie activist events on the same day!
 
At the same time.

And I'm trying to decide which one to go to.

One is a rally to protest violence against sex workers in my city. The other one is a potluck dinner for anti-oppression activists to network with each other.

I'm so conflicted! On one hand, I feel very strongly about sex worker rights, and really want to go to that protest, and on the other hand, the dinner sounds like a lot of fun, and, as a young activist, I think I'd learn a lot.

Which one should I go to?

(on edit: I know people who are going to the rally, I don't know if I'd know anybody at the dinner.)

Who the **** is supposed to be parenting this kid?  :thatsright:

What's an "anti-oppression activist?"  Does the "anti-oppression activist" have a corollary in the "pro-oppression activist?"  If I were a pro-oppression activist I would have a pol-pot luck where we raided and stole all the food from the anti-oppression activist pot luck.

Outside of that, I can't  think of what a pro-oppression activist might do.

No but it becomes MUCH more oppressive if you put the crushed stale potato chips on top.
