Title: They made it worse, and it will not die

the Senate is going to take up the bailout soon. In order to make it palatable to Republicans, they larded it up with a bunch of Republican pork.    The best must not be made less bad. The beast must die.   Adding more special interest stuff to it is not making the monster better.
