LUSBY, Md. — Police say they have found the bodies of two children in a home freezer.
Calvert County authorities say they discovered the bodies Saturday while they were investigating a report of an injured child in Lusby, about 50 miles southeast of Washington, D.C.
Police say a 43-year-old woman who says the girls were her adopted daughters has been arrested. Renee Bowman told deputies that the remains had been frozen since at least February.

Really hard to muster up words that are adequate. Killing children is vile all on its own, to think this woman then put their remains into a freezer and even moved it with her.
Right now I'm hoping the girl's died ahead of time. I'm scared we'll find out she put them in there alive. I hope not. :( As if that is any improvement. There just isn't words and I guess I'm just hoping whatever happened, happened quick...I can't stomach the idea of these two girls freezing to death on top of the probably years of abuse they already went through.. :( :( :bawl:

I hadn't thought of that possibility. I agree, I hope whatever happened was sudden and those girls' deaths weren't lingering.

I'd say the way the Japanese used to execute prisoners would work. Take a Katana and just slice from shoulder to waist till your done. It would take a little bit for her to just realize her life just ended.

I would oppose that on the general principle that it contaminates that poor blade with blood unworthy of it.

Starvation, Injury Cited as Causes of Girls' Deaths
The Calvert County woman who is being investigated in the death of her two adopted daughters found frozen in her home told police that one child died of starvation and the other died after apparently falling backward, two law enforcement sources said today.
Maryland's chief medical examiner said yesterday that an initial autopsy of the bodies of the two children failed to reveal how they were killed or even to confirm their identities.
David Fowler said that his office has completed physical examinations of the bodies but that further laboratory tests and detailed studies of tissue samples were necessary to help determine how the children died. Medical examiners interviewed by The Washington Post said the "pending" ruling on the cause of death probably means there were no obvious wounds or other trauma to the bodies.

Both my wife and I agree--having our little girl gives us a slightly more "down" look on this sort of thing.
How 'bout this for an execution: First, start a good bonfire close to a gallows. Then, hanging, but not a far enough distance to break the neck, to about ten seconds after she loses consciousness. Cut her down, and stretch her limbs out so she's spread-eagled. Revive her. Then, cut out her guts, and throw them onto the fire. Make sure that she sees this in her last moments. Then, behead her, and quarter her. Take videos of the event. Play said videos over and over . . . .
