Title: Strange way for a mind to work
Post by: Peter3_1 on September 27, 2008, 04:41:31 PM
Last night I was listening to the "debate".  As I listened to Obama spin his all to predictable tale, reviweing all'd learned about the man, I found myself imagining I was Mr. T, grasping Obama by his Malcon-X lapels and shouting 'Enough of your JIBBER-JABBER!"  Then I thought "Jibber Jabber? hmmmmmmJabberwockey? Hmmm, the Walrus and the Carpenter?  OF COURSE, THAT'S IT!!!!"

Obama's the WALRUS (not Paul  :evillaugh:) and each of his sycopants think they're the Carpenter! BUT, they're the OYSTERS!!!!

Can you see it? He wrote that in 1872 and it describes today very well! Or am I just nuts,  :mental: :thatsright: ?

Well, you're nto completely nuts.  It is an interesting fact that Hitler rose to control the Nazi Party, which was pretty much just a right-wing Socialist/Populist bunch of ne'er-do-wells and political amateurs before he took it uptown, because all the other power guys in it thought they were using him as a tool, but ultimately found out to their chagrin that they had  been quite wrong about who was the oyster.  There are certain parallels to the present situation, no matter how inflammatory an analogy to Germany in the 30s might be.

You know, sometimes I think I've read too much, as these associations spring unbidden into my tiny mind. I'm not even running a fever to excuse it.
