Barack Obama and Joe Biden stepped out of sync again Tuesday, as the Democratic presidential nominee criticized his running mate for voicing opposition to the government bailout of American International Group early last week.
It was the second off-message moment for the Democratic team in two days. Biden had to ratchet back his own rhetoric Monday after an interview aired in which he called one of his own campaign ads “terrible.â€
The lack of harmony suggests the Obama team, for months a rancor-free institution, is running into the kind of message discipline problems that John McCain’s campaign faced before he started to cut back his interaction with reporters.
The latest friction happened when Obama was asked on NBC’s “Today Show†about why he criticized McCain for initially opposing a federal bailout of AIG when Biden was also speaking out against it.
“I think … that in that situation, I think Joe should have waited, as well,†Obama said.
He was referring to Biden’s interview with NBC last Tuesday in which he said, “I don’t think (AIG) should be bailed out by the federal government.â€

third one.
he also came out hard against clean coal despite it being clearly IN their energy plan.
he had been against clean coal in his own campaign (does anybody remember him running ?).

Biden wouldn't be trying to purposely get dropped form the ticket would he?
-
They'll use these Biden gaffes as proof that he has had an aneurysm, (a small one). That will be their medical excuse for his leaving the ticket.

And what if Hillary doesn't want it?

Hillary not want it!? She'll be all over that like a bum on a ham sammich. :hyper:

I don't know. If Obama does try this, it can only hurt his campaign, and there's really no guarantee that the Hillary voters will go back to Obama anyway, especially after completely passing her over the first time. They, and many others, will look at it as something he has to do because Biden is such an idiot, making him look weak and indecisive. It will also bring back memories of McGovern. I doubt she'll want the association of a doomed campaign lingering over her as she tries to run in 2012.
However, if Obama does try this, he might choose someone else, like that moonbat from Kansas (forgot her name).

Yep, Sebellius (sp?) is that moonbat - she said she supports Obama because her son told her to. :mental: :loser:

She sounds like the "lovely" Claire McCaskill from Missouri, one of Obama's biggest cheerleaders. I think one of her kids told her, too.
