Oh my.
The shadowy primitive, the part-time taxi-cab driver in upstate New York; the primitive who lives in a drug-infested neighborhood and wants to get out--another primitive once invited the shadowy primitive to move in with him down in Arkansas, and the shadowy primitive couldn't remember where Arkansas was (the shadowy primitive thought Arkansas had a coastline)--the primitive who in late middle-age entertains delusions of literary grandeur.

My wife's a baker and I have experience in communications
For anyone starting a compound/commune and accepting resumes.
Hmmm.
The shadowy primitive's experience in communications is chitchatting with passengers in the back seat.

4. I am good at reproducing
we always need a guy that can plant the seeds
Yeah, we all know how good the crooked tale primitive is, at reproducing.
The crooked tale primitive produced some sons, and then forgot all about them for nearly a decade.
And then when two of the three joined the military, the crooked tale primitive got all worried.

9. Cool, cool.
I'm not a bad cook either, I tell a mean joke and I like a good days work.
All kidding aside, if someone really did this, I'd be one of the first people there.

Little do they know that VRWC Camp #66OH-442 will be lableled "The Commune."
:evillaugh:

You know,I would take my chances on a commune of CC folks long before I would any DUmmy infested one.
Somehow I don`t think sitting around rambling on over batcrap crazy conspiricy theories or wailing on about how unfair life is will cut it.

They would all be dead in four months from diphtheria and typhoid.

I'll furnish the land for the commune. :hyper:

I would love to see them do this. 20% of them, the 20% that ended up doing all the work so the others could survive, would be voting conservative the rest of their life .... IF they managed to survive at all. They would all be trying to 'out disable' each other and nothing would get done would be my best guess though.

I'm oftentimes reminded of a historical precedent, when reading about "communes."
The father of the 19th-century authoress Louisa May Alcott, founded a commune near Boston, the idea being to gather all the New England "intellectuals" together so they could intellectualize.
Which of course they did.
But while they were sitting around intellectualizing, Bronson Alcott's wife and daughters were stuck with trying to eke out food for the commune; they being women, and frail at that, the commune almost starved to death.
In a nutshell, that's pretty much the history of just about any "commune" experience.

I'ver got a rifle and a couple of guns DUmmies. I nominate myself to be overseer at your commune.
:whatever: :stirpot: :bash:

We can't forget the socialists communal colonials who enjoyed the New World in the 17th century. A more complete and total failure these shores have never seen again.
