Bismarck, N.D. (AP) Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama's campaign is pulling its staffers out of North Dakota.

Obama has been making a statewide effort to be the first Democratic presidential candidate in 44 years to carry the state.

Obama spokeswoman Amy Brundage says the campaign is sending its staffers from North Dakota to other battleground states.

I love it when arrogance an assumed superiority doesn't pan out.

Hey, Hussein!  How's that 50-states strategy working out for ya?

It's time to start visiting cemetaries and resurrecting the dead.  Maybe they'll come through for the party this time. :uhsure:

Didn't he pull out of South Carolina last week?

He's still got 55 other states to campaign in.

Since when do the dead need to be resurrected to vote democratc?  They vote that way anyway.  But he should visit cemeteries, just to visit the base.

ND one of them weird states. Haven't went democrat in presidential elections for 44 yrs. Once they do send someone to congress they tend to keep them there almost for life.Don't know the last time they sent a Republican to congress. Hell I think Dorgan had hair when they first elected him and Pomeroy was fresh out of college if I recall correctly
Title: Obama campaign staff pulling out of ND (Down to a 56 state strategy?)

I guess The BarackStar! is running a 56 state strategy now.  I have read elsewhere that he is moving the people
that leave ND into Minnesota and Wisconsin.

And I seem to recall that BHO moved a bumch of people from GA to NC last week, but I will have to find the link
again.  but we are potentially down to a 55 state strategy.

Obama campaign staff pulling out of ND

BISMARCK, N.D. (AP) - Barack Obama's campaign is pulling staffers from North Dakota and sending them to Wisconsin and Minnesota, where polls show a tight race between the Democratic senator and Republican presidential candidate John McCain.

An Obama spokeswoman, Amy Brundage, won't say how many staffers are relocating, but Democratic activists put the number at more than 50.

Obama has opened 11 North Dakota campaign offices and run television advertising in the state, which is unusual for a Democratic presidential candidate.

Democrats say the Obama campaign employees have been working to identify sympathetic voters, a task that's more difficult in North Dakota because the state doesn't have voter registration.
