You guys ever see that show "How Clean is your House" of whatever its called...with the english ladies with the fur lined rubber gloves. Those houses are quite disgusting, too.

When I bought a duplex in Nebraska (for $18,000), the side we were moving in to was nasty, even to the point of the last people laying carpet over dog piles in one bedroom. When the tenant on the other side moved out, we cleaned the basement with scoop shovels. You really don't want to know what all we scooped out. Just let me say, it took 2 gallons of bleach and days of scrubbing after we finished scooping before I let my kids enter the house. It was a full month of cleaning before we moved in. But it in no way compares with the nightmare in that place. You'd almost want to torch it and start all over again.

Ideally, one would burn that place to the ground and start over.

40 years ago I had a good job on a swing shift. On my days off and days on the night shifts, I cleaned and repaired appartments for a fellow. Went in some pretty bad places but nothing that bad. .....but there was the one that 2 lezboes had rented. In the corner of the bathroom was a pile of feminine santitary napkins almost waist high.........with maggots in them......I lost my cookies...... and the job because I just couldn't hack cleaning that one up.
Then there was the one an India indian doctor(surgeon) rented. When I went in to clean it up the kitchen floor was a mess. When you walked across it your shoes stuck to the floor, had to tear your shoes loose, sounded like you were tearing bedsheets or something. I told my wife, "If he's the last doctor in town between me and the graveyard, call Hazel (high school friend and funeral home owner)." :-)

Some of the interior shoots I do for foreclosures are almost as bad.
I was in one last week that I was really glad I had sandals on.....my shoes were sticking to the carpet. I wear usually wear some sort of flipflop so that I can wash them off after if need be.
It's really amazing how some people will live in their space.

Yeah! that got me too...It actually looks like the toilet backed-up and the person just said "AWW screw it i'll just use the floor!" They also apparently enjoyed smoking......ALOT! :o :-)

There's lazy and then there is that...which I think borders on a mental disorder. Seriously. Seeing those pictures makes me want to go clean something. Ugh.

I just want to say THANK GOD it wasn't my house! I showed my BFF my kid's room pictures yesterday and she almost hurled I think. It is clean now though. :-)

What stood out to me was in the middle of all that....
.....was a freakin' ironing board.
They lived like that but ironed their clothes?
Or maybe they just used it to make grilled cheese sandwiches or something.

The ironing board looked like the cats pooped on it maybe even more than they pooped on the floor. Did you read the post with the pictures? It seems there were supposed to be two cats in that place but they can't find them and assume they are dead somewhere in the mess. At this point the only way to really clean that place would be lighter fluid and a match.

The bathroom pic showing the bottle of Clorox Clean-up sitting on the edge of the tub kills me! :lmao: Do I wanna know what that blue tote in the bathroom was used for? :o
