I happen to believe that a report about possible US involvement in a coup plot in Venezuela should have a place in LBN (the report is less than 12 hours old).

I do think that I was posting in accordance with DU rules:
Be aware of the following restrictions when posting in Latest Breaking News:
1. Do not post news that is more than 12 hours old.

The recordings allegedly showing US involvement in the coup plot were first broadcast on Venezuelan TV YESTERDAY and first reported in English by AP TODAY.
3. Do not post opinion pieces, editorials, frivolous items, or other stories that are not news.
Check.
4. Whenever possible, post excerpts and links from reputable mainstream news sources that are available online. Do not link to blogs, vanity sites, or blatantly biased sources, except in cases where reputable mainstream sources are not available.
Check.
AP and the International Herald Tribune are reputable mainstream sources.
5. Please make an effort to link directly to the original source of an article, instead of linking to sites that have re-published someone else's content, or re-packaged someone else's content as their own.
Check.
I even made the effort to search for the original video and transcript in Spanish.
6. Do not post links to polls, petitions, or other action items.
Check.
7. Discussion of Israeli/Palestinian issues is not permitted in the Latest Breaking News forum, and instead must be posted in the Israeli/Palestinian Affairs forum. If, however, the news item is primarily about U.S. policy in Israeli/Palestinian affairs, you may post it in the Latest Breaking News forum.

8. All of our other rules for posting still apply, including copyright rules.

In my opinion, moving this thread to the Latin America forum is not justified by DU rules and amounts to censorship.

They mean of course, RIGHT wing blogs, CONSERVATIVE vanity pages or any OBJECTIVE news agency.
If they actually followed those rules three quarters of the posts would dry up because they wouldn't be able to post a "News" story about Bu$hitler that was written by some retard Lib pundit on their home page and lifted over as if it was carefully vetted legitimate news story.
MOST of the topics in the OP's are crap from some a-hole den like Huffington Post or their own damn homepages and they throw the shit to the wall and chatter at each other about how they KNEW they were right all along. :whatever:
