We know you're planning to try and steal this election. We know that you're preparing the US Army to put down protests once you do steal this election.
You're not going to get away with it. You've stolen the last two elections. We're not going to let you steal this one. NOT THIS TIME, NOT AGAIN.
Oh noes!!

1. How do we stop them?
Edited on Fri Sep-19-08 11:17 AM by dbonds
And we need to stop them up front, not after the fact.
Unless we can insure they don't hack the voting machines, they can still steal it. We can somewhat fight the voter caging. And we might can insure they have the voting machines equally distributed. Its the hacking thats the big unknown.

3. We have to be strong, resolute, and FIGHT
I don't mean getting physical, but we need our candidate to stand up for himself, not back down and acquiesce like we've done in the previous elections. When the outcome of the election once again is the exact opposite of all the exit polls, we know that something is wrong and the election has been hacked.
We need to stand up to these pollsters when they try to tell us that we're not eligible to vote for some bullshit reason.
We need to not give in to intimidation.
And if need be, we need to prepare for a campaign of civil disobedience. Nationwide strikes, sit-ins, marches, etc.

2. We're the "intellectual elite", why don't we have better hackers?
In my dreams I think that's why Obama is so confident. Maybe we have some eggheads working on the machines ourselves this time. **** it, I say we steal it before they do. Kid gloves off.
Hey yeah....How come??

6. Hard to steal that which is yours.
We have the great numbers. We will win, but they may steal it from us. I assume what you mean is just unsteal it.
Huh?

4. um, they didn't steal the 2006 election... we won!
just a reminder.
Go out and register folks to vote for Dems and get em to the polls. Give money to candidates. Get on the phone
That's how you stop it.
That is about as close to a reasoned political point I have seen on the island.

7. They will probably attack intellectual/progressive population centers in swing states...

... this way, they can clear out a good amount of their opposition and hope that the rest of the frightened sheeple flock to McWar.
I got dibs on Manhatten.

I know I have said this before, but I certainly hope I'm not injured by thrown beads or bottles of patchouli oil when we start herding them into cattle cars for the Haliburton Camps at shotgun point. :whatever:
Step one in staging a violent revolution or resisting tyrany:
DON'T belong to a party that demonizes owning a gun or guns and then pack yourselves into cities that legislate your ability to own said weapons out of existance.
Silly DUmp Wabbits!
Guns is for Rethugz.

You can have it, I still we got ripped off for 24.00 bucks worth of beads. :-)

PIB wants to fight, but he's not willing to take a chance of getting his teeth knocked down his throat. What a let-down.

It would be simply beautiful if we trailed by 3 or 4 points in all the polls going into election day, trailed all day by 4 or 5 points in exit polls, then won it with a strong Bradley effect. The DUmmies are setting themselves up for the most spectacular explosion of impotent rage we've ever seen.
It would make 2004 look like a kumbaya moment.
Which reminds me: In 2004, the DUmp was locked down from early evening of election day until sometime the following day. If you didn't have an account, you could not visit the DUmp. The DUmmies were so irrational and incoherent in their despair it was embarrassing to Skimmer.
BUT, 2004 was, I believe, before Skimmer signed up for the many various ads that are slathered all over the DUmp these days. If he goes into lockdown now, he loses clicks, and that means he loses a few pennies.
So, which way will Skimmer go? Protect his DUmmies from the humiliation of public view, as they howl and rend their clothes? Or make a little more money?

What do you say to a DU protester with two broken legs?
Nothing, you told him twice

The posts get loonier the closer we get to the election. Do these nitwits get so involved in the politics of the day that they forget to take their meds?

Somebody please get this DUmbass a blankie and a teddy and put it down for a nap before an adult has to take the time to bust it's ass.

Of course, non of these nitwits know enough about computers to even understand what it would take to 'hack' the voting machines. To most non-technical people, 'hacking' is some magical tool that lets you do anything with no effort. If they actually understood the science behind it, they would know that it is far easier to stuff ballot boxes, feed fake votes through an optical scanner, etc than to hack an electronic voting machine.

However it is quite easy to create a large number of votes from dead or non existent people.
That has always been the voter fraud choice of those wishing to do it and it usually has a dem city machine behind it.

That is the real reason the DUmpmonkees are upset. Computerized voting and record keeping make it much more difficult for the dead and illegals to vote. :rotf:

Fixed.
