THANK YOU, PRESIDENT TRUMP!!!
We want to publicly thank The Greatest President Ever for giving each of us an additional $90 social security pension this month.
We immediately put the money to good use:
-- Gave $90 to Shannon Taylor, Democratic candidate who is leading do-nothing Rob Wittman (MAGAt, VA-01);
-- Gave $90 to Senator Jon Ossoff (D, GA) who will stomp the MAGAt opposing him.

Do you know how stupid you look posting this?

Will DUmmies ever learn not to make claims or whi-i-i-i-iiiines about things easily fact-checked? :rotf: From https://wealthvieu.com/retirement/social-security/cola-history/ , here are the COLA %s since 2006:
2026 - 2.8%
2025 - 2.5%
2024 - 3.2%
2023 - 8.7%
2022 - 5.9%
2021 - 1.3%
2020 - 1.6%
2019 - 2.8%
2018 - 2.0%
2017 - 0.3%
2016 - 0.0%
2015 - 1.7%
2014 - 1.5%
2013 - 1.7%
2012 - 3.6%
2011 - 0.0%
2010 - 0.0%
2009 - 5.8%
2008 - 2.3%
2007 - 3.3%
2006 - 4.1%
Consider it generous or miserly, it's automatically calculated. The automatic COLA was mandated by Congress in 1972 and started in 1975 (previously it was voted annually in Congress), under the EEEEeeeeeee-vile Richard Nixon and Gerald Ford. How SS recipients use it is recipients' choices. Hopefully the donations to Taylor and Ossoff prove wasted, .

I think it is mistaken referring to it as from SS pension, I believe it meant to say rebate from Medicare part B overcharge. ::)
