Iran was within a years or so of having nuclear-armed missiles that could reach all of Europe, except for Scandinavia, a large chunk of northeast Africa, and much of southwest and central Asia. Opponents of Trump's action against Iran, by default, wanted Iran to have that ability.

#7 is huge for much of the ME. As the Houthis in Yemen and Hezbollah in Lebanon, demonstrate, Iran used these proxies to do more than "just" attack Israel.
