Holy Heck this has been a long week. Gonna be good to have all my peeps home for a couple of days.
Sunny and absolutely gorgeous here today.
I'm gonna run into the big city and get the oil changed on my Escape and amuse myself with some shopping later on.
Trying to decide what kind of meat to drag out of the freezer and char on the grill tonight. Baby back ribs or steaks.
I also need to drive out to the edge of town and get the mower repair guy (Who has no damn phone) to come and collect my POS Cub Cadet rider (AGAIN) and try to finally fix the damn thing so I can kill some grass. I swear that thing is cursed. I had it running for a grand total of about 20 minutes this summer and it's a new problem EVERY time.
And the back lawn and the weeds just sit there mocking me and pissing off my lawn nazi neighbor. (The latter I don't mind too much. :evillaugh:)

Wild weekend here in town.....Florida's come in to play UT, the FBI is investigating a UT engineering student who allegedly is the one who hacked into Gov Palin's email, it's sunny and in the low 80's. Going to try and fight the crowds and go out tonight with friends.

Going to lunch with a friend today, and this eveing my daughter and I are going pattern and fabric shopping. Other than that, I'm not gonna do a darn thing.

The office ladies went to lunch at Pappadeaux's. And I brought a key lime cheesecake for us for desert. :-)

Well on that note, since I will be alone with the little peeps tnight and have not worked out today, I will be mowing the lawn and other assorted yardly stuffs. I have chicken defrosted--going to bread the whole lot and make some with corn, homefries, and salad and the other batch for parmesan chicken tomorrow.
Other then that, I plan to move my ass all weekend and get back on my regular track this coming week! So need it...I'm feeling very icky not being on the regular schedule.

Big Dan the mower man just checked out The Lemon and went back to his shop for carburator cleaner and the stuff to run a compression check on the engine.
I want to take this thing out to the gravel pit and put a 7.62 round through it's stupid heart.
I buy NEW next time.

Home from work, and it was a decent day, as it was PAY DAY! Got my check deposited.
My employer is not quite ready to let me go (I did say something to management about my situation), so they're letting me work more hours in another area of the store (trial run, but I think I can prove myself just fine :) )
Bought some beer on the way home (though I am breaking Housing rules by having the beer here...campus is dry, even for legal age students). :uhsure: :cheersmate:

Middle of September,Friday night,central Texas, High school football games everywhere. I'm sitting tonight's game out. Son and his Homies are typical smack talking football players. Tonight they play victim 4 going in with a record of 3 - 0 (I guess I should listen to the smack talkers a little better. They have a bye week there next victim is next Friday). The Boys being seniors are hoping this yr is a threepeat to the State Championship cept this yr they win. I tell them Regardless of what happens this season keep in mind, How many Can say they played Championship football in Texas Stadium and the Alamo Dome.
I don't mow grass. Got Mexicans to do that :tongue:
