U.S. Southern Command (SOUTHCOM) continues to eradicate maritime drug trafficking as part of a massive crackdown on cartel crime in the Western Hemisphere.
The Los Choneros narco-terrorists were using the maritime refueling station as part of their network to carry out their deadly criminal activities, according to SOUTHCOM on Monday. While U.S. Central Command attracts most of the attention and glory right now because of the Iranian conflict, the U.S. military in this half of the world is also engaged in important operations. Criminal cartels and their drug trafficking operations have been responsible for the deaths of thousands of Americans.

The SOUTHCOM post said that Ecuadorian authorities will be taking charge of the individuals whom U.S. forces removed from the refueling station.
The official post from Southern Command ended, “After clearing the vessel and disembarking the crew, U.S. forces sank it. JTF-WHEM continues to conduct precise and professional operations to dismantle the logistical networks fueling narco-trafficking in the Western Hemisphere.”
Time for Proggies to add Ecuador to their list of Latin American countries they hate.

The former police chief of Hamtramck, Michigan, is in hot water after investigators have dug into allegations against the Muslim chief for how he ran his department.
Court records show that Hamtramck Police Chief Jamiel Altaheri personally engaged in a "pattern" of domestic violence in his own household, and told officers that wife-beating isn't a "formal" crime.

In addition, the suit describes a 'disturbing pattern of domestic violence from Altaheri.' On two occasions in 2024, Altaheri was said to 'hit and punch' the mother of his child. He allegedly ordered responding officers not to write up incident reports, arguing, 'You guys here in Michigan don't handle things the correct way; you guys make everything formal,' suggesting such cases should be handled through mosques following the tenets of Sharia law, which does not proscribe wife-beating as a crime. Altaheri, who did not respond to requests for comment, is also accused in the suit of punching a man 'in the head at a hookah lounge in Dearborn [Mich.].'
Altaheri, who is of Yemeni descent, previously served as a New York police officer where he co-founded the NYPD Muslim Officers Society and the Yemeni American Law Enforcement Officers Association. He also headed the NYPD's Office of Equity and Inclusion, where he led efforts to hire more Muslims on the force.
