I've watched several interviews with Abdul El-Sayed
He sounds like your average liberal democrat. Nothing radical about him at all. I don't understand what people are getting worked up about. We need to support all democrats in November. None of them are perfect on every issue but at least they are not trying to destroy our democracy.

When rightwingers with rightwing policies keep winning at the ballot box, politicians are going to start moving towards those positions because they see that is what voters are voting for.

Perhaps he’s doing the Democrats’ usual routine of pretending to moderate his positions, in order to have broader appeal going into the election.
