Just a gentle request
We all are going through some very trying times these days. The toxic, malevolent person in the White House is causing untold stress and turmoil. He is systematically trying to eviscerate our democracy and our Constitution, but let's please not let him divide us. These are very trying times. Nerves are on edge, frustration is off the charts, but let's support each other.
Everyone here is here because we love and support our country. That is what DU is all about. It's what makes DU great.
Lately, I have noticed a bit of hostility towards some of our members. That is not who we are and not what we need. We are stronger together. All of us are struggling. Let's embrace and support each other.

Obviously the LPC Noob has not seen DU's purges of supporters of certain D Presidential candidates. I'm guessing discussion of LIEden's dropping out and Kammie being imposed on Dems engendered some "warm" discussion. Proggier-Than-Thou and Victimier-Than-Thou :pisscontest: s and other one-upmanship is ordinary common fare on DU.

Self-created "untold stress and turmoil" because in reality it isn't happening. I never felt under "stress and turmoil" under the Clintoon and 0Bummer administrations. Biden's was only mildly stressful because of the horrid job he did during the Chinese Wuhan Red Death and the overreaction by goober-mint.
