I read this yesterday, and it irked me to no end, but I had already published an AWFL post and thought this little ungrateful min deserved her own time in the broiling sunlight of public scorn.

Remembering how when my Mum left, my Dad still didn't learn to cook or do anything else she'd been doing solo all those years.
I quickly taught myself to cook at age 10, using books from the library, as soon as I realised that every meal with my father was going to be a bag of frozen sausage rolls, plain toast, or nothing at all. By 13, I was cooking meals for him too.
And that's how male incompetence trains women.
This pathetic chica's mother walked out on her family when she was little, leaving her father to pick up the pieces, try to hold his family together, and keep a roof over their heads.
This is how this woman repays the man who stayed and did what a man does - take care of his family.
Her entire X feed is nothing but a man-hating vitriol fest. I am assuming all because she is still resentful that her father, after coming home from work, did not artfully prepare meals like Jacques Pepin, as her stay-at-home-who-left-the-home mother had once done.
The moral failing is obviously with the dutiful but cuisine-challenged father, and not the wastrel woman who walked out and abandoned her daughter to *checks notes* teenage years of frozen snausage rolls and toast, forcing this delicate flower to learn to cook.
This hardly needs comment - "Mother" abandons child, father struggled to keep a roof overhead and food on the table; ingrate daughter resents his inability to provide "better" food than frozen sausage rolls, etc., and ingrate daughter learned to cook, blaming her Father instead the "Mother" who abandoned her. My only addition is that since the "Mother" abandoned the daughter to the Father's custody, it's inferable or even obvious that she was not fleeing abuse.

ICE agents in New York can’t be banned from wearing masks, according to a federal-court ruling that smacks down one of the state’s new sanctuary policies.
Obama-appointed Judge Mae D’Agostino on Monday granted a temporary injunction of the law on the constitutional grounds that states can’t place rules on federal agencies — a blow for Gov. Kathy Hochul and lefty Albany pols who clamored to slap together a boatload of new sanctuary-state policies in response to President Trump’s immigration crackdown earlier this year.
“New York cannot impose its own uniform requirements on federal agents simply because it disagrees with how the Federal Government is exercising its authority,” D’Agostino wrote in her opinion.
“Because the Face Covering and Identification Acts take direct aim at regulating the federal agents in their function of enforcing federal law, the Court finds these provisions likely run afoul of the intergovernmental immunity doctrine,” added D’Agostino, an appointee of former President Barack Obama, in her 51-page order.
The State of NY will probably waste more taxpayer $$$ by appealing this grossly obviously correct decision.

WTA World No. 1 Aryna Sabalenka on Monday offered her full support for new mandatory sex testing designed to keep men out of women’s sports.
The WTA confirmed last month players will be asked to provide a one-time cheek swab, blood or saliva sample to check for the presence of the SRY gene, which is part of the Y chromosome and causes male characteristics to develop.
The testing has the simple aim of keeping male imposters off the women’s courts.
Asked to address the topic in Montreal, Canada, the Belarusian four-time Grand Slam champion said, “I think it’s really important to keep the fairness in our tour. It’s obviously, biologically, the men are way stronger than women, so I feel like it would be not really fair for the woman to compete against biological men.
“I think it took them a while to make this decision and, yes, I support it…. If you want to test us all, I will gladly do so, it’s pretty fair, and let’s keep it that way.”
Women athletes are pushing back, with professionals joining high school and college women athletes.
