Unbelievable! On my VERY CONSERVATIVE local Ham Radio Net last night
Good guys who care about the community and selflessly help during weather events and other emergencies.
Mostly older, with a few youngish guys. One is 89, did 20 years in the USAF and at one time ran the radio shack on a then secret base literally on an iceberg. He was then a communications tech for local radio and TV until he retired. The guy has almost 70 years in ham radio. Occasionally his pet bird speaks on the air.
Politics are generally discouraged, but occasionally someone can't help themselves and a comment makes me cringe.
Last night, the two biggest Trump supporters shocked me.
The first expressed his apprehension over Trump's handling of the war.
The second expressed anger and disgust over the grilling and language used towards Dr. Fauci.
It's hard to overstate how much of a surprise this was.

Even if true, it's only shocking to DU becasue criticism of their leaders is not tolerated well.
Also, it's hard for me to imagine these guys would be more bothered by the questiioning of Fauci than by Fauci's refusal to answer questions.

IMO, orangecrush lied by half-truthing. The part about, "apprehension over Trump's handling of the war," is probably true, as I've seen this in conservative discussion and news/commentary sites, though usually it's frustration at Trump's patience and wanting him to bomb Iran back to the 7th Century. The part about Fauci is all but certainly absurdly false. Fauci is intensely disliked or utterly hated among conservatives.
