Enough with the "Lindsey was a good person" stuff!
I’m sorry he passed away, not because of him. Anyone who passes away, I feel bad for those around him.
But the “Lindsey was good person” montage is not what he was! He was a sniveling little man who blew the way the wind blew! He used friends to get what he wanted which gained him fame, popularity and fortune.
He was vile and arrogant! He knew nothing but hate and discontent for those who were not in his class of people.
I know it is wrong to speak of the dead, but his way of treating others was a joke.
So, his eulogy will be unbearable to anyone who knows that he was a terrible person! That goes for many GOBers who will be leaving this world sooner rather than later.
I will pray for his family, but it is hard to pray for such a vile horrible person.

Lindsey Olin Graham was born on July 9, 1955, in Central, South Carolina, where his parents, Millie (Walters) and Florence James "F.J." Graham, ran a restaurant, bar, pool hall, and liquor store. His family was of Scotch-Irish descent.
After graduating from D. W. Daniel High School, Graham became the first member of his family to attend college and joined the Reserve Officers' Training Corps. When he was 20, his mother died of Hodgkin's lymphoma at age 50, and his father died 15 months later of a heart attack at age 68. Because his sister, then 13 years old, was left orphaned, the service allowed Graham to attend the University of South Carolina in Columbia so he could remain near home as his sister's legal guardian. During his studies, he became a member of the Pi Kappa Phi social fraternity.

Graham's parents, "his people", were not dirt poor, but they WORKED, probably hands-on with long hours! Most of his estate, small for a Congress critter, was his two homes, in DC and in SC. Again, not poor, but not wealthy.
Unsurprisingly, reality and imanamerican63's image of Graham are not acquaintances.

In a few ways, Lindsey reminds me a bit of John McCain. He was reviled by the Democrats in 2000 and 2008, but adored when he became "Mr. Maverick" and rebelled against the Republican party. They're very subjectively judgmental.
