A message to all sane Republicans:
He pardoned 1,600 violent criminals.
You said nothing.
He bulldozed the East Wing.
You said nothing.
He interfered with the release of the Epstein files. You said nothing.
He took over the Kennedy Center and renamed it after himself. You said nothing.
He accepted a $400 million airplane as a personal gift. You said nothing.
He threatened Canada, Cuba, Denmark, Greenland, Venezuela, Colombia, and Brazil. You said nothing.
He tariffed just about everyone but Russia, causing inflation and instability worldwide. You said nothing.
He attacked a nation during mediated negotiations. You said nothing.
His ill-conceived war killed 175 children on day one. You said nothing.
He alienated and insulted our allies. You said nothing.
His ICE Army terrorized and murdered U.S. citizens. You said nothing.
He committed murder on the high seas. You said nothing.
He co-opted the Justice Department and directed it to prosecute his political enemies. You said nothing.
It’s time to start talking.

Much of the list is nonsense (or stuff that provokes a response of "so what?"), but still, this one?
Why, oh why, does this deserve mention with accusations of murder, and the like?

In the real world, few of those at the Capitol committed acts of violence. Even LIEden's DOJ charged most of these 1600 with a "crime" akin to trespassing rather than any form of violence. And contrary to, "You said nothing," I am far from the first to call out your lie.

In the real world, numerous commentators explained both the reason for Trump's project and that FDR's 1941 East Wing was not part of the historic White House ... contrary to, "You said nothing."
He interfered with the release of the Epstein files. You said nothing.
In the real world, Trump both approved of releasing the Epstein files and signed the law mandating that release. Also in the real world, contrary to, "You said nothing," there was much discussion of the release, from the R Congress Critters who voted for it, to Trump's expressed approval and signing, to conservative opinion writers who pointed out the issue of innocent people being revealed, as was done by D Congress Critter Ro Khanna, (a concern Trump had) and who predicted, correctly, that the files would have zero Gotcha-Trumps.
He took over the Kennedy Center and renamed it after himself. You said nothing.
In the real world, the Kennedy Center is operated and maintained by the executive branch of the US government. So Trump "took over" the Kennedy Center in January 2025, from Biden who took over it in January 2021, from Trump who had ... . Similarly in the real world, contrary to, "You said nothing," Trump's plans to fix and modernize the somewhat dilapidated Kennedy Center were reported and discussed in R and conservative circles, and Trump's announcement that his name would be added to it was spoken of as well, as amusing.

In the real world, the plane was a gift/loan to the US, and if necessary could be used by whoever became President in January 2029. Similarly in the real world, contrary to, "You said nothing," this gift/loan wasreported and discussed in R and conservative circles.

In the real world, Trump added sanctions - sanctions that are more stringent than mere tariffs - on Russian products and had the US assist in the capture of Russian "shadow tankers" (and possibly provided intel to Ukraine which was used to damage "shadow tankers"). As usual, "You said nothing," is a cluelessly false claim.
His ICE Army terrorized and murdered U.S. citizens. You said nothing.
In the real world, ICE is a Federal law enforcement agency, and EVERY death involving ICE officers has been due to people stupid enough to attack those ICE officers while they were performing their lawful duty. I the case, for example, of Renee Good, she was trying to run over the ICE officer she knew was walking across the front of her SUV. But for her tires losing traction for a second or so, that officer would have been severely injured or killed. Good was not the first to try to run over ICE officers nor the first to suffer fatal consequences. There are multiple threads here in the Cave citing news and opinion articles about these incidents, proving that "You said nothing," is a cluelessly false claim.

In the real world, killing drug smuggler while destroying their cargo and the speed boats they were using to smuggle drugs was quite legal.
