yesterday was constitution day. All SS teachers had to do somethig about the constitution

I have a neat little scenerio sheet that goes along with the Bill of rights to explain each of the first 10 amendments and helps the kids know their rights.

I started out with

On Sept 17, 1787 a group of COMMUNITY ORGANIZERS set out to strengthen the Articles of Confederation ect..........

You know, I really hope she didn't use "ect" on the "scenerio sheet."

And I hope she didn't title it "scenerio sheet."

Anyway.

1. ugh

Serioulsy. I understand why you did it but injecting your personal political potshots into what you are teaching kids is pretty messed up. As a parent I'd be pretty pissed if my kid came home telling me that a group of community organizers worked to create the US constitution. Madison was a member of the Virginia State Legislature, not a community organizer.

4. jazz is nice but they were not community organizers. To call them that is pretty disrespectful to their commitment to this country and the individual states before that.

It's all Good ,Community Organization actions are regulated under RICO statutes. Prior to that they were advised by an old jewish Guy out of Las vegas that liked to vacation in Havana, Cuba.

Wonder how many will congratulate her on this after two days ago saying a teacher that supposedly told a student Obama was un-American should be repremanded, made to apologize or be fired on the spot?
