I find this hilarious... he meant to mock Trump not realizing that every damned post he makes has this flavor to it. Few things are more important to PC Ingrate than telling everyone how awesome and well-connected and important he is. This is the apex of hypocrisy.

I aced the S.A.T's and my IQ test as well as every
Other test I’ve been given. When I was in dental school, many of the instructors asked me for clinical advice and I graduated first in my class, receiving grades which had never ever been seen by anyone before.
When I entered clinical practice, people who observed my results would literally gasp in amazement and big strong men would come up to me with tears in their eyes and say, “Doctor, sir, I didn’t think it was humanly possible to create such beauty.” DaVinci and Rembrandt were said to be the greatest of their times, but many tell me that they think that I’m more artistic. Maybe, I guess maybe I might be.
I am very critical of the design of dental equipment and supplies: I know more about this technology than anyone and I know more about disease and the science of pathologies than anyone. I am the master of curing people of any ailment, although I confine myself to the oral cavity because my beautiful wife prefers it that way. She’s an Einstein-level person and knows twelve languages and the history of a hundred countries to the nth degree.

Now imagine I was saying this on a daily basis: I would be measured for a straitjacket and having my license suspended indefinitely. People would be both laughing at me and shaking their heads in disbelief that anyone was so capable of clearly lying continuously. I would be the subject of countless denigrating dinner conversations and the butt of every joke. Just outrageous.

all he knows is: he's a DOCTOR, and you isn't. He's also well connected to VERY important people, and you isn't.

The fact that he feels the need to put forth all this information in a venue where it isn't pertinent says a lot about his character and his need for recognition.

As one of our "old" friends used to say either here or at our old home CU, a person's post count is often inversely related to the value they provide. It isn't an absolute by any means.
And yes, the site has been a bit wonky as of late so glad to hear that it isn't only on my end.

I keep getting a 505 error.
This has happened to me a few times as well. The solution sems to be to click 'Post' once, and don't click it again no matter what. Keep refreshing if you get the error message, and if you get taken back to the screeen displaying your post, just navigate away.

I just open a new browser window while waiting for the post to appear (which lately results in Gateway 504 error). Then I use the Cave shortcut to discover just where I left off. My 55 year old brain and its abilities.

it looks like someone reset it, the "user" count dropped from 20K back to a normal level. but it'll just climb over time as the connections don't appear to be releasing. I'm guessing because I can' see the back end of what's going on

What I've been doing is after I post something and it starts taking "forever" I let the SW do its thing, do something else, when the 504 error pops up I Back-arrow to the thread or forum index, click reload, and what I posted is there. It's clunky, but it works.

Yeah, it was a very frustrating endeavor. I remember my dad asking me one day why I put up with all of their filth and hatred to try to help them. I told him that sometimes you have to go through the bad to get to the good. I’ll never forget his reply. He shook his head in disbelief and said, “What ‘good’ do you hope to get to? They’re brainless pustules of hatred. It’s somewhat like dealing with a rock. You can spend all sorts of time and energy trying to clean it and even polish it, but when you’re finish you’re still ultimately dealing with a rock!”
Dad really didn't think much of lefties like those idiots at DU.
