1. Did a fill-up last Saturday at the station we've been using for months. Its price for regular has been the same for a month or so.

2. That price is lower than the peak under LIEden.

Don't confuse DUmmies with facts! They prefer false emotional narratives that reinforce their crazy beliefs.

I thought surfered was going to offer some numerical estimate. I knew he couldn't possibly have a clue of that number. But, not having a clue is how they roll. Pleasantly surprised that it was just a vague negative statement with no actual meaning. Of course, that's their true specialty.

Complaints about gas prices from those who never mention californias gas prices just don't carry any weight.

Sorry not sorry.

And more sad news for the dummies. I'll break it gently. As of 1:45 EST today oil was down $20.

When I commented a week ago about the gas price I had been seeing for about a month, the price had been $5.40 per gallon. It's California taxes and Envirocracy higher than most states and has been for decades. On to my point, last Friday evening I got gas, because my tank was getting low and I had a running/walking event Saturday, and the price was $5.27 per gallon, down 13 cents.

It looks to me like Trump encouraging domestic production and development has stabilized US gas prices, higher than anyone would like - except for Trump-Haters, :-) - but not as volatile as in some countries.

$3.40 in N.H. for NON-ETHANOL 93 octane gas.

I run this in all my small engines so well worth the slightly higher price than last year.

That's a great price! Around here the non-ethanol  93 octane has been .30 t0 .50 cents more than the ethanol 93. At the moment the ethanol diluted 93 octane is still around $4.25-4.50. But it's slowly improving. And, when this Iran thing is over and stabilized, I think 93 will drop below $4.00 again. 93 was around $3.25 here pre-Biden. Regular 87 octane was $2.50-2.60 pre-Biden, if I remember correctly. Diesel is the current rip-off. Not sure why.

I filled up yesterday an regular was $5.13 a gallon. I don't know why its so high here. I heard on the news we are exporting gas and oil, that doesn't make sense to me when prices are so high.

To some degree, domestic oil prices follow worldwide market prices. Also, when oil production approaches maximum capability, less efficient wells come into use, so average production cost does increase.

IIRC, Clinton added a significant Federal tax on diesel, because trucking was too profitable (putting it scarcastically).

BTW, my memory a couple of days ago about the gas price was off. It's $5.26, not $5.27. I'm watching other stations less closely, but their prices are dropping a bit, too.

I didn't know about the Clinton tax. Not shocked. I've known several independent haulers who simply could not afford to be sick. If the truck was idle a few weeks, their reserve money disappeared. The tax burden placed on 18 wheelers is unbelievable.
It's just like some life-long, candy-ass politician to say and believe bullshit like that. Clinton may not be able to comprehend that when the money doesn't cover the bills, we can't just raise taxes. But we don't have to live with Hillary. So, it evens out.

Filled up the Taos Saturday, now $5.22 per gallon. Somehow I don't think DU has a thread showing the weeks of stable prices of a couple of weeks ago and now the drops in the past couple of weeks. Gas price trends have become Reich-Wing, :rotf:  .
