Best sign I saw at the protest in my village of about 31, 000...
...in McHenry County IL, which is the only one of the Chicago area collar counties that votes red was this:
No King
No Jester
No Child Molester
It would make a good chant, as it has a steady 4 beat rhythm to it.
A Channel 7 ABC news helicopter flew over.

Nobody cares. Plus I saw three people standing on a corner..🙄🙄

Well, that rules out the previous administration.

31,000 is a "village"? ::) DU-grade Progs reeeeally do not respect the small-town America that feeds them.
When I was born the town I grew up near was about 10,000 population. It was between 20K and 25K when I graduated from high school. Big-city folks' and liberals' disdain for small towns and nearby farmers was news to me when I was in elementary school. The foolish disdain and hatred DU-folk express simply shows Libs/Progs have not grown smarter or better in the past 6 decades.
As for me, I've lived in large city areas since Nixon, but I haven't forgotten where my food and clothing (= cotton, wool, and leather) comes from nor the hard-working people who produce it.
Why does stating a number have the feel of a hope DUpipo will think the Kinks Tantrum was 31,000 people, not just the tiny fraction of the town's population it pretty much certainly was.

Illinois is weird that way, most of the suburban areas are deemed "villages" no matter the size.
In regard to these silly "Old Queens" rallies:

So "village" is a regionalism? Thanks for the clarification. To me, 31K is somewhere between large town and small city.

Why is it the signs they describe as the best they saw at a given event are always so lame?

Something regarding the Illinois constitution. Most of the outlying areas outside of Chicago proper are deemed "villages", and the signs when you enter always have some designation of "Welcome to the Village of Northbrook", etc.

Uncle Ralphie didn't create the laws, but yes, Algonquin is technically a village. Spent many days and hours in and around all of these places before I escaped from Cook County.

Who was holding the sign, the village idiot :mental: :loser: :lmao:

Probably not.
If that was the case, the CrazyCatLady DUmp'Rat would have been boasting that the sign was hers.
