Anarchists blew themselves up when building bomb in Rome

The bodies of an anarchist couple were found beneath the rubble of a cottage on the outskirts of Rome after they blew themselves up while making a bomb.
Police believed Alessandro Mercogliano, 53, and 36-year-old Sara Ardizzone were plotting an attack against a police station and Leonardo, a defence contractor, which made parts for F-35 jets.
Traces of ammonium nitrate, a chemical used to make explosives, were found in the debris of the abandoned building beside an ancient Roman aqueduct on Friday.
Police said the pair were supporters of Alfredo Cospito, the jailed figurehead of a loosely organised anarchist network called the Informal Anarchist Federation.
Well, this was the ultimate in having a blast!

California Attorney General Desperate to Quash Investigation of Potential Mass Voter Fraud

There's a fascinating investigation into potential voter fraud going on in California, and as you would expect, almost nobody in Pravda wants to go anywhere near it.
And it's not just Pravda that wants nobody to know what is going on; the Attorney General of California is working feverishly to cover up what could be a major scandal involving the voting in the 2025 special election that allowed the Democrats in California to redistrict the state.
The Special Election in California last November, where Prop 50 passed and the redistricting is occurring, is under investigation. Apparently several Advocacy groups obtained information online that shows there were approximately 50K more ballots counted than what the SOS reported.
The AG, Rob Bonta, attempted to put an end to the Investigation being run by the Riverside County Sheriff's Department. Bonta sued and the judge denied his motion to quash the investigation. The judge further ordered that a Special Master be appointed to count the ballots.
So what's the deal? The Sheriff of Riverside County, California, has gotten a warrant to count over half a million ballots from that election because there is a massive disparity between the number of votes recorded as cast and the number of ballots that were counted.
Not a few. But 45,800.

Most of the news stories say the Sheriff has "seized" the ballots, but that is not quite accurate. While Bianco is a prominent conservative and running for governor, he didn't just send deputies in and take the ballots; he was given a warrant by a judge who found probable cause to investigate, and appointed a Special Master to look into the matter.
1. For clarity, this is about ballots in Riverside County, where Bianco is Sheriff. What AG Bonta wants to prevent is an investigation outcome that would lead to people wondering, "In how many other counties did shenanigans occur?" Bonta also does not want an R gubernatorial candidate having an accomplishment of this magnitude.
2. Isn't it funny that, while Bianco followed proper legal process to get custody of the ballots, the MSM use the word "seized", suggesting a rogue illegal seizure.

A woke Atlanta-based trauma therapist has come under fire by the nation’s largest watchdog group against Jew-hate in healthcare after her tirade to white Jews on social media, despite claiming to be “antiracist.”
The therapist in question — Erica Holladay Webb (nee Probst)(they/she) — is the founder of ALT Trauma Therapy, which has two locations in Georgia, and Webb works out of the Fulton County, Atlanta, area.
“I operate from a feminist, sex-positive, and antiracist perspective. I value consent and autonomy: I believe that clients have the power to heal from within, and that they are the experts on their own lives” she writes on her official biography page.

According to the (Physicians Against Antisemitism) spokesperson, Webb attempted to define “antisemitism” to a Jewish man, invalidated his experience as a Jew because of the color of his skin, and admitted to laughing at a Jew’s concerns over antisemitism.
“You are a white Jewish man living in New York,” Webb snarled about privilege in a response to a thread about Israeli-US politics.

“Anti Zionism is not necessarily antisemitism. This needs more context,” she added, referring to a prior conversation.
Then, in another comment, she said “you are white, you don’t have a right to a country in the Middle East.”
I'll try to clarify a (very) mental distinction I make. Israel is not perfect and is not above criticism. But, Israel is a sovereign country with a right to defend itself. "Anti Zionism", at best is a denial of both and crosses the boundary between ???? into antisemitism. WRT whether "criticism" is just that or is antisemitism, it's antisemitism, IMO, when:
* It includes or tolerates Blood Libel like the claim that Israel kills "Palestinians" for their transplantable organs or claims that Israel is committing genocide;
* Israel is criticized for defending itself and for trying to eliminate munitions being used to attack Israel;
* When "news" outlets use "Palestinians" sources who are part of terror groups;
* Wild "Palestinian" claims of "civilian" deaths are "reported" without question or qualification;
* Double-standards, claiming things Israel does are "atrocities" while ignoring real atrocities by Arab Palis;
* When reports of an event omit details and context in order to make the event look like Israel committed an atrocity (e.g. when the Arab Pali's rocket fell into a Gaza hospital parking lot and worldwide MSM reported it as an Israeli missile hitting the hospital, until forced by overwhelming evidence to follow up with corrections).

The courts sided with Bianco over Bonta over a filing technicality
A California court on Tuesday quickly denied Attorney General Rob Bonta’s request to halt the Riverside County Sheriff Department’s effort to recount ballots from the November 2025 special election.
In an unprecedented move, Riverside County Sheriff Chad Bianco, a Republican who is running for governor, seized roughly 650,000 ballots and began conducting a recount of votes. At a press conference Friday, he characterized the investigation as a “fact-finding mission” that is intended “just as much to prove the election is accurate as it is to show otherwise.”

An AG should know how to cross T's and dot I's in motions to court. I haven't expected that degree of expertise from Bonta or Kammie, maybe not from Moonbeam.
