So, when FDR and offered Germany, Italy, and Japan the terms of unconditional surrender, this was "chickening out"? Because Trump's terms are pretty close to unconditional surrender.

Aviation Pro would have thought proposing to end the war Asian theater part of WWII in Japan was chickening out, and then called Truman dropping atomic bombs a war crime.

It was a proposal to let Iran cry uncle before we went onto bombing the oil infrastructure on Khrag Island and elsewhere which would totally collapse whatever is is left of the Iranian economy.
It sounds lie av pro is hoping for an endless war, rather than a quick resolution with the least amount of damage to civilian lives and non-war related infrastructure

Av Pro is also ignoring the fact that the Iranian Mullahcracy has been decapitated down near, so far, the armpits. IOW, Trump cannot talk to the pre-attacks "murderous regime", because they have assumed sand temperature. Av Pro can't admit any Trump accomplishment.

Iran has done nothing to compel to Trump to surrender.
Nothing is happening at home to compel Trump to surrender.
So no, there’s no reason to think of this as surrender.
Democrats just need to spin it as such, because a successful outcome to this campaign will make Trump look great, and them look like a bunch of bozos.
