While in a Scottish doctor's office yesterday...
…the receptionist asked me how I was.
Fine, though I was watching the latest British news with some fascination. She gave me a crooked smile and said in a low voice, “Yeah, but nothing ever comes of it.”
I mentioned that most Americans would say they don’t have a “horse in the race” regarding British royalty issues. But in this case, 3/4 of them are begging the Brits to “P.L.E.A.S.E. H.E.L.P. U.S.”
She completely understood.

Yeah, I don't either so I reverted to my old fictional spirit-guide training...
Since this is a DUer, it's a lie and drugs or alcohol are likely involved. With that in mind, I'd say that the stollen DUmbAss got falling down drunk in a bar (office) while drinking cheap Scotch mixed with Dr Pepper (Scottish doctor) to the point it had its head flat on the bar. The bartender (receptionist) was concerned enough to ask if the DUmbAss was okay. The rest of the rambling mess was just hallucinated and/or made up in the stollen DUer's empty head in a weird attempt to get some DU street cred.
