Oh Donny just a little FYI for you.
Bad Bunny’s Super Bowl Halftime Show officially becomes the most watched Halftime Show of all time with 135.4 million viewers, breaking the all-time record.
Thanx to DUer underpants for posting this fact first.
BTW from the very little of kid rock that I have seen the man is not aging well.
BTW part 2 135.4/342 =0.396 aka 39% of the American People

How petty. Nobody cares. What a hill to die on.

and despite this, Trump is still your President

It could be that having the halftime show sandwiched between two halves of pro football kept some TV tuned in. Just a hunch.

As with any halftime show, it isn't knowable how many "viewers" actually left their TV on while going to the bathroom or loading up their plate/bowl with wings, ribs, potato salad, and chips. OTOH, viewers of the "Puppy Bowl" and the TPUSA show intentionally tuned in to those shows and watched.

I am positive a right smart of people left it on just so they could say, "Jeez, look at all of these faggots prancing around."

It also doesn’t tell you what impression those that did watch had. It could be good, bad, whatever.
One thing I do know, the left is perennially bad at reading the room. Remember when Michael Moore declared “The left has won the culture war”?

There pretty much certainly were some tuned in to see the freak show.
I wonder if any DUmmie had the courage and honesty to let DU-folk know that they probably would be glad they did not understand BB's raunchy lyrics.
-
Oh look, Kid Rock's song surpassed Bad Bunny's on the sales chart. Looks like DU's little victory lap was more like a jog aaround the backyard.
-
I'm seeing wildly varying numbers for the BB halftime show. It may be the distinction between devices actually tuned in vs. the estimated viewers for those devices - i.e. (the guesstimated viewers per device) X (the number of devices).

While a moral victory, it is softened by two things. One, it was just the US charts that Kid Rock knocked BB off, and two, vast majority of BB fans don't buy music, they just stream it from Spotify, YouTube, ect.

I find it very hard to believe that 40% of the country watched the Super Bowl let alone the halftime show.
I didn't watch either of them. When they started kneeling for my national anthem I said "**** it" I'm done with professional sports. That was at least 10 years ago and I've never watched another game. I was an avid football fan before that. Watched 2 games on Sundays, Monday night, and Thursdays.

I was thinking the same thing. Those numbers only reflect the number of TV's on not how many were actually watching that freak show. I'm glad I kissed almost all but a few minutes of the game when it was 22 to 7 with just over five minutes left and then I went back to work.

Nielsen doesn't monitor if the TV has been muted.

I haven't seen a positive review of BB's show yet. Maybe morbid curiosity was responsible. Like already pointed out, being sandwiched between the 1st and 2nd half of the freakin' super bowl played into it.

Just saw 2 sources saying 5 to 6 million tuned out when the halftime show started. Botany probably missed that one. It was Glenn beck and Clay Travis (or Buck). But, they're both members of the evil RW media machine. So, I'm sure they just made that up. :whatever:

The most annoying issue is that the DUmmies think that anyone paying the slightest mind to the halftime show was doing so with tears in their eyes, wearing their **** ICE shirt, hair still slightly damp from dyeing it green or purple, and in the midst of planning their next tiktok jeremiad.
In reality, the vast majority of people who enjoyed that slop are the same dead-eyed, celebrity-obsessed, illiterate, violent morons that DUmmies USED to complain about until they realized they're the only ones stupid enough to quit buggering each other long enough to vote (D).

Yes, I believe they're called the "Yay! Loud noises!" crowd.

Thus sayeth Nielsen:
Nielsen: NFL Halftime Show Lost 9.6 Million Viewers
https://hotair.com/ed-morrissey/2026/02/11/nielsen-nfl-halftime-show-lost-9-million-viewers-n3811795 (https://hotair.com/ed-morrissey/2026/02/11/nielsen-nfl-halftime-show-lost-9-million-viewers-n3811795)
What does it mean when almost ten million people change channels in the middle of the most-hyped event in television? Especially one in which advertisers usually can rely on eyeballs sticking around for their expensive and innovative ad spots?
That question may come up in the next discussion about ad rates between the NFL and Madison Avenue. The New York Times reports on the Nielsen ratings for the Super Bowl on Sunday night, which came up a little short of breaking the record set last year for combined viewership on all platforms, but still ranks second all-time, The issue relates to a sudden drop in viewers for its controversial halftime show, featuring Bad Bunny and promoted as a slap back against the immigration enforcement policies of the Trump administration:
In a slight dip from last year’s record-breaking audience numbers, Super Bowl LX generated an average of 124.9 million viewers across NBC’s platforms where it was broadcast or streamed. That is down 2.8 million from last year, which set the mark for most-watched Super Bowl ever. It still ranks Sunday’s game as the second-most-watched show in U.S. history.
In the second quarter, the game reached 137.8 million viewers, the highest peak viewership in U.S. television history.
Bad Bunny’s halftime show reached 128.2 million people, down 5.3 million viewers from Kendrick Lamar’s halftime show last year, the most-watched Super Bowl halftime show ever.
1. Contrary to what DUmmie Botany wants to be true, the BB show was not the most watched Super Bowl halftime ever.
2. At some point late or at the end of the 2nd quarter, nearly 10 million viewers tuned out. Not went to the can or to get snacks, tuned out.
3. I wonder how many of those millions stayed tuned out. Did 3rd quarter numbers recover? Whatever the reason for the tune-outs, it wasn't because it was a blow-out at the end of the 2nd quarter. If the 3rd quarter numbers recovered, I think BB gets most of the credit for the tune-out. If not, BB would still get some/most of the credit, plus a similar share of the credit for the lack of or only partial recovery.
The article also has numbers for TPUSA viewers, but Fair Use ...
-
Im sure people were curious and tuned in, but after seeing what was being presented to them they changed the channel or just left the room

So several million viewers tuned out. The left is proving to be a bit of a paper tiger (or in the case of the Democrats specifically, a paper donkey).

All that proves is that 135.4 million viewers have absolutely no taste in music, if that's what you want to call music.
