Oh my.
Some contemplations of the sparkling husband primitive as he sits upon the commode in the basement, morosely watching the cat using the litter-box at the other end of the room:

Are you happy with the Obama campaign?
I keep hearing on the teevee nooz that 'liberal groups' are unhappy with the Obama campaign's performance.
Are you, personally unhappy with it?
BIG NOTE: This is ***not*** about the candidate. It is about the 'inside baseball' of the campaign. And I'm not trying to pick a fight. I *am* trying to get us to discuss an issue - and maybe even whether it is or isn't 'an issue'.

1. It's The Media Stupid
I'm tired of people who refuse to get it and take the appropriate action to get the media to report accurately.

2. The snooze has a lot of empty air time to fill since they don't actually cover the news any more. If it isn't really just gossip, it isn't news to them.

3. Yes. I adore the 2 minute address on the economy. Though I haven't seen a single TV ad for Obama here in red state Arkansas.

4. Mixed opinion
He seems to have done some unprecedented things, so it would be silly for anyone to be completely unhappy with their performance.
However, I get frustrated when he, Biden and the rest of the dems seem to be playing defense all the time. I loved Obama's commercial from today on the economy... that's them getting back to playing offense, and I think it's important.
I see the RNC bump of the polls has essentially gone away, so it's almost as if the conventions never happened... we're back to a statistical tie. I think where we go from here will be much more important than where we've been.

5. Very happy with some of it, unsure about other aspects.

6. I'm happier with it than Kerry's or Gore's campaign.
I think it could be even better, and I'm worried that it's not good enough. But when they're on, they're on.

7. I'm assuming you want a sincere answer
I have a lot of frustration with the local campaign here. You can't get bumperstickers or yard signs or buttons. People are working hard and doing their best but the organizers lack experience in really getting things going.
This won't change my willingness to work on the campaign, however.
Uh oh.

9. Did you post that to get us to beg you to tell us what you know?

But I know too much.
DUmmies prove, every single day, that they don't know ENOUGH.
"Too much" will always be out of reach.

I continually find it interesting how the DUmmies have to place disclaimers in their posts of what they "aren't" trying to do or what they "don't" mean when they use a certain pharse or word out of fear that someone is going to read it the wrong way.

FWIIW, I have a lib sister and her ex-husbands' family whom she stays in touch with, are all super libs. To be able to discuss politics and keep her happy, I discuss it what I call structurally. What has happened, what will happen, mistakes by either/both sides, the effect of the base, etc. If everyone discussing is honest (think Jack Germomd), it can be an interesting and fun discussion. It also lets me show off what a political wonk I am and share info I get from here ;)
