These yahoos have been saying for the last 2 days she wasn’t a protestor, she was just out running errands, or some such bullshit.

Statement from Renee Good's wife, Becca Good:

First, I want to extend my gratitude to all the people who have reached out from across the country and around the world to support our family.

This kindness of strangers is the most fitting tribute because if you ever encountered my wife, Renee Nicole Macklin Good, you know that above all else, she was kind. In fact, kindness radiated out of her.

Renee sparkled. She literally sparkled. I mean, she didn’t wear glitter but I swear she had sparkles coming out of her pores. All the time. You might think it was just my love talking but her family said the same thing. Renee was made of sunshine.

Renee lived by an overarching belief: there is kindness in the world and we need to do everything we can to find it where it resides and nurture it where it needs to grow. Renee was a Christian who knew that all religions teach the same essential truth: we are here to love each other, care for each other, and keep each other safe and whole.

Like people have done across place and time, we moved to make a better life for ourselves. We chose Minnesota to make our home. Our whole extended road trip here, we held hands in the car while our son drew all over the windows to pass the time and the miles.

What we found when we got here was a vibrant and welcoming community, we made friends and spread joy. And while any place we were together was home, there was a strong shared sense here in Minneapolis that we were looking out for each other. Here, I had finally found peace and safe harbor. That has been taken from me forever.

We were raising our son to believe that no matter where you come from or what you look like, all of us deserve compassion and kindness. Renee lived this belief every day. She is pure love. She is pure joy. She is pure sunshine.

On Wednesday, January 7th, we stopped to support our neighbors. We had whistles. They had guns.

Renee leaves behind three extraordinary children; the youngest is just six years old and already lost his father. I am now left to raise our son and to continue teaching him, as Renee believed, that there are people building a better world for him. That the people who did this had fear and anger in their hearts, and we need to show them a better way.

We thank you for the privacy you are granting our family as we grieve. We thank you for ensuring that Renee’s legacy is one of kindness and love. We honor her memory by living her values: rejecting hate and choosing compassion, turning away from fear and pursuing peace, refusing division and knowing we must come together to build a world where we all come home safe to the people we love.

Anyone want to tell me why she had a whistle?

That's an admission that they inserted themselves into a law enforcement operation. In other words: obstruction.

A-fisking I will go, a-fisking I will go, ...

Quote
... Renee was a Christian ...

She was living a lifestyle contrary to clear Christian teaching.

Quote
We were raising our son ...

Unless you adopted him, he was not YOUR son.

Quote
On Wednesday, January 7th, we stopped to support our neighbors. We had whistles. ...

You chose to "stop".

Is this the "Becca Good" that Renee had get out of the SUV so she could get video of all that happened after Renee blocked the street?

You did not just "stop", you turned to block and box in the ICE agents.
Boxing in law enforcement signals a possible ambush by blocking egress.

Ordinary people do not carry whistles. Activists bent on obstructing and interfering with the enforcement of US immigration law do.

Quote
That the people who did this had fear and anger in their hearts ...

No, they were just doing their legal law enforcement duty. The only "fear" was the second or two when Renee's SUV turned toward the ICE agent and hit him. The agent might have, afterward, had some "anger" mixed with his pain from being hit by the SUV.

Quote
... her values: rejecting hate and choosing compassion, turning away from fear and pursuing peace, refusing division and knowing we must come together ...

In the real world, she hated law enforcement people.
In the real world, she expressed "compassion" by trying to hit a law enforcement officer.
In the real world, she she incited fear and hatred toward law enforcement people.
In the real world, she "pursued peace" with violence toward law enforcement people.
In the real world, law enforcement people were exceptions to her "refusing division".
In the real world, law enforcement people were exceptions to her "we must come together".

Perhaps the smartest peeps on the internet should do a bit more research:

'It's My Fault': Partner of Leftist Driver Who Tried to Ram ICE Agents in MN Blame Herself Over Shooting

The wife or domestic partner of the woman who reportedly tried to run over ICE agents in Minneapolis, Minnesota, is blaming herself for the incident. It was all captured on video on January 7: Renee Nicole Good, 37, accelerated toward a federal agent who opened fire. Good was a professional left-wing activist who trained and led convoys to disrupt lawful immigration enforcement operations. She was shot and killed during the confrontation.

The widow of Renee Nicole Good, who was filmed sobbing “it’s my fault” after her partner was killed by an ICE agent in Minneapolis, is a handywoman who recently moved the family to the city, The Post can reveal.

Rebecca Good, 40, was outside the car when Renee drove towards an ICE officer, who opened fire on Wednesday — shooting the mom of three in the head and killing her.

Rebecca Good and her wife previously lived in Kansas City, Missouri, where they lived in the Waldo neighborhood for about two years.

But they decided to leave the country after President Trump was re-elected in 2024, and moved to Canada for several months before settling in Minneapolis, a former Missouri neighbor told KMBC.

“A neighbor who, you know, is not a terrorist. Not an extremist. That was just a mom who loved her kids, loved her spouse,” another neighbor, Joan Rose, told the outlet.

Rebecca was then seen distraught and apparently crying that she’d been the one who asked her wife to go out and protest the ICE operations.

“I made her come down here; it’s my fault,” Rebecca said, her face covered in blood after having attempted to help Renee. “They just shot my wife.”

“They shot her in the head. I have a 6-year-old in school,” Rebecca said.

The couple was allegedly a part of a group that had been “stalking and impeding” ICE officers throughout the day, DHS Secretary Kristi Noem said.

But Renee’s mother insisted that didn’t sound like her daughter at all, telling the Star Tribune she was never “part of anything like that at all.”

“Renee was one of the kindest people I’ve ever known,” said the mother, Donna Ganger. “She was extremely compassionate. She’s taken care of people all her life. She was loving, forgiving, and affectionate. She was an amazing human being.”

Again, she’s on video accelerating into federal agents. It never ceases to amaze how the Left’s initial reaction, always, is to empathize or curry compassion for the perpetrator. We mentioned this before, but they did the same thing for Dzhokar Tsarnaev after the Boston Marathon bombing. The kid is a terrorist. And this could be an act of domestic terrorism.

I just saw a video of what appears to be the ICE agent's body cam. I don't know how the lefties can continue their lies, but I guess when your mind is that far gone that the truth doesn't matter.

Great find, Ralph!

The left is having a hard time justifying her actions.

What I thought was body cam footage was apparently the agent filming with his phone, you can hear the "wife" screaming, "drive, baby, drive, drive" about the time that the other agent tells her to get out of the vehicle. It was said just before the agent getting ran over had to stop her from killing or severely injuring him.

Not looking good for the left's narrative.

Federal officer cell phone footage released.  The "wife" opened the passenger side door and shouted for her to drive.  The driver was making eye contact as she tried to drive over him.

Case closed. Good shoot.

'A beautiful spirit' - the Christian work of woman shot dead by ICE (https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/c4g49wzw58yo)

Quote
Becca Hainsworth knew Renee Nicole Good long before her name and face went around the world after her fatal shooting by a US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agent in Minneapolis.

"She was extremely caring, a soft and beautiful spirit," said her friend since they were teenagers.

Hainsworth, who now lives in Belfast, is one of a number of people based in Northern Ireland who remember Good from the time she spent there on Christian youth missions 20 years ago.

Paul Bowman, a youth worker who hosted Good for two summers, said she was a "big part" of his family during her time in Northern Ireland.

The 37-year-old died on Wednesday after being shot in her car, leading to people taking to the streets of Minneapolis in protest and a divide emerging over the circumstances of what led to the mother-of-three's fatal shooting.

Officials have offered differing accounts of the incident, with the Trump administration claiming the ICE agent was acting in self defence, while local officials say Good posed no danger.

I just watched NBC's take. They're still working to spin it. Their take: since the agent didn't have a body cam and was only filming with a cell phone, they still don't know for sure his position when the shots were fired. I admit to not being an expert, but it appears to me that his position was that he was fighting to survive.

Have you read her "award winning" poem? If not, here's a portion of it...

i want back my rocking chairs,
solipsist sunsets,
& coastal jungle sounds that are tercets from cicadas and pentameter from the hairy legs of
cockroaches.

i’ve donated bibles to thrift stores
(mashed them in plastic trash bags with an acidic himalayan salt lamp—
the post-baptism bibles, the ones plucked from street corners from the meaty hands of zealots, the
dumbed-down, easy-to-read, parasitic kind):

Dude, there's one on reddit telling me that the phone video proves Good was murdered and that the cop was never in danger. We're literally watching the same video.

We don't fight to change their minds. We're fighting to break through their noise so that those in the political middle hear something other than lies.

That sudden jarring movement just before the shots is a sufficient clue anyone willing to recognize it.

To be honest, when I showed my wife the very first video that was released, her opinion was that the agent shouldn't have shot her, but when she saw the next video she admitted that she would have done the same thing if she were in the agent's place. Now with the agent's cellphone video out, she's wondering how insane and dishonest the left has to be to still claim that the agent murdered an innocent woman.

Posted this yesterday or Wednesday in the immediate aftermath and pretty well figured this entire video thing was going to be a Rorschach test, depending on one's political leanings.

Think ol' Ralphie was correct.

Here's a portion of the "statement" from the deceased assailant's "wife" with some comments from me in red...

Renee was a Christian who knew that all religions teach the same essential truth: we are here to love each other, care for each other, and keep each other safe and whole. *** Well, except for the religion that calls for infidels to be killed. ***  Like people have done across place and time, we moved to make a better life for ourselves. We chose Minnesota to make our home. Our whole extended road trip here, we held hands in the car while our son drew all over the windows to pass the time and the miles.

What we found when we got here was a vibrant and welcoming community, we made friends and spread joy.
*** Except when we were being belligerent to agents who were just doing their jobs. *** And while any place we were together was home, there was a strong shared sense here in Minneapolis that we were looking out for each other. Here, I had finally found peace and safe harbor. That has been taken from me forever.  We were raising our son to believe that no matter where you come from or what you look like, all of us deserve compassion and kindness. *** Unless, you are an ICE agent just enforcing the law in which case you should be hated, demonized, and hindered.*** Renee lived this belief every day. She is pure love. She is pure joy. She is pure sunshine.  On Wednesday, January 7th, we stopped to support our neighbors. We had whistles. *** And an assault car.*** They had guns.

One of the things that can be seen in the ICE agent's video is that both Renee and Becca were taunting and mocking the ICE agents. It also showed Becca screamed, "Drive! Drive! Drive!" before or as Renee turned to drive toward the ICE agent. This was their version of "joy", "compassion", "kindness", "pure love", "pure joy", and "pure sunshine".

I've likely said this before, but if they really did "love" and have "compassion" for the illegals AND the US (and Trump) really is as bad as they claim, instead of hindering ICE, they'd actually be helping ICE to free their beloved illegals from this "terrible" county and it's Orange Man Bad.
