Minnesota Is THE Moment of Truth for Bari Weiss

Quote
Minnesota's multibillion-dollar Somali fraud story is the answer to Bari Weiss's $150 million question over whether she can restore public trust at CBS News.

Paramount paid nine figures for Weiss and her Free Press outlet in October, and put her in charge of the company's flailing and ratings-challenged CBS News division to set "a new standard for trusted journalism in America," as Paramount described it.

A golden opportunity in the form of the biggest ripoff in American history just landed at her feet, but what will Weiss do with it? Will CBS News bury a report about fraud in Minnesota that the MSM wants to make go away — a story that could bring down Democrat governor Tim Walz? Or will she wrangle her unruly reporters into doing their jobs?

Will CBS ignore it, half-ass it, or cover it and let the chips fall where they may. IMO, since the fraudsters are black, it's being revealed in Dem states, and Weiss is "merely" a not-crazy liberal, I doubt the story will get full, not worrying about the chips, coverage.

If she's smart she will tell them they are going to do the story and if any of them stutter, fire them on the spot and replace them with some new talent.  Maybe some of the independent journalists that are out there doing the hard work.

Get rid of some of these college educated pansies.  The news should be just that, news.  You report the facts, let the chips fall where they may.  Do both sides of a story and let US decide what we gather from it rather than trying to spoon feed your own opinion of what we should think.

I get tired of it.  Bring back the days of Stossel.
