He’s insane, dumb as a rock in a lot of areas, but brilliant at manipulating people. Yes, people with mental illnesses can be highly intelligent at manipulating people. He is a very sick individual, my problem isn’t with him.

It’s the entire Republican Party that I hold to blame for attempting to destroy our democracy, our health care system, our country. The party of Dwight Eisenhower is actively working with an insane traitor. They are pissing on the graves of all WW2 veterans.

I hope that as disgusting as he is, that the Democratic Party will put more effort into tying the republican party to him.

A normal party with an ounce of human decency would have stopped him long ago, but a party beholden to a murderous
Dictator and immoral billionaires is literally ecstatic to destroy our country.

LPC Noob  4bonhoffer voted for "the insane one", Joe Tapioca Biden 4 times, not counting OhBummer's Presidency.

As for "dumb", Trump got a Masters degree at a pre-grade-inflation Ivy League university, successfully moved his father's business from residential housing management to high-end hospitality and recreation management, and increased the value of that business by a couple orders of magnitude*.


* Should I explain, for the sake of DU onlookers what an "order of magnitude" is?

Establishment Republicans did try to stop him years ago, when he first ran.

As for the present, congressional Republicans could be doing a lot more to advance his agenda.

Also, I think "A thousand fake news stories" is considerably low. False news stories like "Trump removed MLK's bust from the Oval Office" and "Trump suggested injecting bleach" were close to daily events.
